Abstract: A method of operating a wind turbine. The wind turbine is operated over an operating period in accordance with a control strategy. A sensor signal is received over the operating period from a sensor measuring an operational parameter of the turbine. A model is used to obtain a modelled fatigue value based on the sensor signal. The modelled fatigue value provides an estimate of fatigue loading applied to a component of the turbine over the operating period. The control strategy is modified based on the modelled fatigue value.

Further, the method includes receiving, via the controller, a control function from a supervisory controller, the control function defining a relationship of the set of condition parameters with at least one operational parameter of the wind turbine. Moreover, the method includes dynamically controlling, via the controller, the wind turbine based on the current condition and the control function for multiple dynamic control intervals.

Determining an overall manipulated variable as the sum of the freeforward controller manipulated variable (uff) and the controller manipulated variable.

The method includes: collecting measured values of parameters as initial values of prediction values of the parameters; inputting the initial values into a preset control model for optimizing a model predictive control; solving the preset control model to obtain a solution sequence of the terminal voltage setting values of the generators participating in the voltage control within a time window; and sending first values in the solution sequence to the generators, such that the voltage control in the near direct current area is realized.
