摘要:
A reinforcement thread (1) for fabric coverings or technical textiles, intended to be incorporated in a textile base which comprises a synthetic or artificial core thread (2) and first cladding fibers (3) deposited about the core thread (2). The first cladding fibers (3) are bonded to the core thread (2).

This invention relates to a base material for thermobonding interlining, constituted by a fabric or a weft knit of which at least the weft is made of synthetic yarns of large voluminosity, obtained by the air-jet texturization technique from at least two multi-filament yarns, namely a first core yarn for 20 to 40% by weight and a second effect yarn for 60 to 80% by weight, the overfeeding of the core yarn being included between 10 and 25% and overfeeding of the effect yarn at least 70%.
摘要:
An interlining fabric for providing stiffening to cloth has floats at the surface thereof opposite the surface to be bonded to the cloth, the floats being formed by portions of thread of a fabric body forming a part of the interlining fabric. The fabric has a thermal bonding coating on the surface opposite the floats. A basting needle may be passed between one or more of the floats, and a textile layer, to thereby secure the textile layer to the interlining fabric, and to cloth to which it is bonded in a secure manner and without the basting thread extending through the cloth. A process for producing an interlining fabric comprising knitting a fabric, and inserting threads thereinto having floats.

A strip of backing cloth that is adapted for use as padding in garments includes a knitted underlayer formed from a multiplicity of backing yarns and includes a series of successive, lengthwise areas positioned adjacent to one another. Each area is formed of backing yarns that vary in at least one of size and composition from the backing yarns forming a respective adjacent area. The variation in the backing yarns forming the areas provides the knitted underlayer with selectively variable reinforcement.

A warp knit fabric and method of making it wherein said fabric which is adapted to constitute reinforcing plastrons for apparel is generally constituted by a stitch fabric having, on the one hand, a sheet of mutually parallel reinforcing yarns giving the fabric the required wiry properties and, on the other hand, a sheet of napped or roughened yarns which gives one face of the fabric adhering properties with respect to the fabric of the apparel or to its lining and, simultaneously, a light volume effect which provides a "fuller hand" of the frontal portion of the apparel thus replacing the conventionally attached felt-like layer.
摘要:
The invention concerns a reinforcing base fabric (1) for a shirt collar or an analogous piece, in the form of a weft knit fabric (2) and comprising an insertion of reinforcing and stabilizing yarns (5) extending in the direction of the warp between the wales.

A thermo-adhesive product is formed from a backing fabric with a thermo-adhesive layer deposited on its surface. In a preferred embodiment, the thermo-adhesive layer is deposited in a discontinuous fashion as dots. The thermo-adhesive layer is formed of polymers which are non-tacky at ambient temperatures but which become tacky and plastic at a first elevated temperature range which is beneath the critical temperature for the polymeric composition, and which become thermo-setting at a second elevated temperature range which is above the critical temperature. In alternate preferred embodiments, the thermo-adhesive compositions can be cross-linked under the influence of radiation from an electron beam or UV radiation.

The invention relates to a textile for stiffening. It comprises two textile layers (1, 2).According to the invention, the textile layers (1, 2) are bonded together by a hot-sprayed adhesive formed of cross-linkable polymers.

A method of producing a thermoadhesive fabric covering includes applying in spots a dual coating of thermoadhesive polymers to a textile support which is then dried and cooled.

A lining fabric comprising a first nonwoven layer composed of microfibers produced by melting-blowing, and at least one second nonwoven layer composed of fibers or filaments and an adhesive layer distributed in spots. The first layer and the second layer being bonded, on the one hand, partially by the entanglement of some of the fibers thereof by the application of fluid jets; on the other hand, completely by the base of the spots of the adhesive layer which keeps the fibers interlaced, thus ensuring the cohesion of the assembly as a whole.
