Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may establish one or more wireless connections for different subscriptions with a base station. The UE may receive an indication of a temporary mobile subscription identifier (TMSI) from the base station during a registration procedure. The UE may calculate a paging occasion (PO) based on the TMSI and may determine the PO fails to satisfy a threshold timing value. The UE may transmit one or more registration request to trigger additional registration procedures in which base station may transmit a new TMSI. The UE may calculate an updated PO based on the new TMSI. The UE may periodically receive one or more paging messages from the base station in a set of POs based on calculating the updated PO.

In some aspects, a mobile station may detect that a voltage fails to satisfy a performance threshold while operating in a dual subscriber identity module (SIM)-dual active (DSDA) mode associated with maintaining a first network connection in a first active mode concurrently with maintaining a second network connection in a second active mode. The mobile station may transition the first network connection from the first active mode to a standby mode based at least in part on detecting that the voltage fails to satisfy the performance threshold. Abstract: A method detecting allocation collisions from transmitting user equipments (UEs) in sidelink channel resources. The colliding allocations are detected and the quantity of allocation collisions is determined. A collision report is transmitted to other sidelink UEs within the coverage zone. The collision report or collision notification provides an indication of sidelink resources having identified colliding allocations. The identified allocation collisions may be pruned to remove potentially intentional collisions before collision report transmission.

Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure implement techniques that allow a vehicle performing V2X communications to provide more accurate S-RSSI measurements and CBR calculations for use in channel selection and congestion control. Techniques may include measuring a sidelink received signal strength indicator (S-RSSI) for each of a plurality of sub-channels, determining one or more signal impairment adjustment factors based on the S-RSSI for each of the plurality of sub-channels, calculating a channel busy ratio (CBR) for the plurality of sub-channels based on the one or more signal impairment adjustment factors, and initiating communication with at least one of the plurality of sub-channels based on at least the CBR.

Generally, the user equipment (UE) may adjust an operational mode of a circuit of the UE by selecting one or more parameters (e.g., power level or clock frequency or both). Adjusting parameter values may result in avoiding increased temperature. The UE may set an operational mode of a circuit based on a determination or a prediction of a number of blind decodes to be performed, a number of pending receive packets, or a number of transmitting UEs from which the UE will receive traffic. The UE may efficiently reduce unnecessary power expenditures and decrease temperature.
