    摘要： Methods and apparatus for simultaneously hosting multiple service providers on a network. A method is provided for hosting multiple service providers in a data network. The method includes controlling access to services offered by one or more service providers, and discovering affiliation provisions associated with a device, wherein the affiliation provisions are associated with one or more selected service providers. The method also includes filtering the services according to the affiliation provisions to generate a package database of services offered by the one or more selected service providers, and transmitting the package database to the device.

    摘要： Methods, devices and systems for delivering broadcast data to client devices that do not support receiving broadcast transmissions. In an embodiment, a gateway device may be configured to receive a manifest file and related data segments via a first type of network protocol, such as LTE broadcasts. The manifest file may include data defining network addresses for one or more network resources, and may be modified to include a network address of a proxy server for the network resources. The proxy server may be configured to accept requests for data segments from client devices conforming to a second type of network protocol different from the first protocol, such as unicast. In an embodiment, the gateway device may transmit broadcast data for storage in a cache or alternatively a separate storage location accessible to the proxy server. The proxy server may be included in the gateway device or client devices.

    摘要： This application relates to systems and methods for recovering data in multimedia file segments. A communication device may receive a multimedia file segment that includes damaged data. The communication device may replace the damaged data with dummy data to reconstruct the multimedia file segment. The communication device may then play the reconstructed multimedia file segment. Thus, by replacing the damaged data with dummy data, the communication device may play a multimedia file segment even when part of the segment may be damaged.
