Abstract:
The present disclosure proposes indicating to the UE a set of CSI reference subframes that may be used in performing a CSI measurement. The set of CSI reference subframes may be measured over multiple frequencies when frequency hopping occurs. In an aspect of the disclosure, a method, a computer-readable medium, and an apparatus are provided. The apparatus may receive information associated with a number of CSI reference subframes to use in performing CSI measurements in a narrowband communication. In addition, the apparatus may monitor subframes on at least two frequency channels including a PDCCH. Further, the apparatus may perform a CSI measurement across the at least two frequency channels based on the information associated with the number of CSI reference subframes.

In an aspect of the disclosure, a method, a computer-readable medium, and an apparatus are provided. The apparatus may be a user equipment (UE). The UE reports antenna capability information of the UE, the antenna capability information comprising identification information of each of one or more antenna subarrays and polarization information indicating at least one polarization supported by each of the one or more antenna subarrays. The UE further receives an indication to operate each of the one or more antenna subarrays with one or more of the at least one polarization and communicates according to the indication.

The base station allocates one or more resources for one or more local operations of one or more UEs. The base station determines one or more resource indicators indicating the one or more resources. The base station transmits the one or more resource indicators to the one or more UEs.

An apparatus capable of self-calibration in a low-interference environment is desired. In an aspect, the apparatus may be a user equipment (UE) or a neighboring base station. The device receives, from a base station, a self-calibration notification indicating one or more resources allocated for a self-calibration of the base station. The device performs, in response to the self-calibration notification, at least one of deactivating at least one component of the device based on the one or more allocated resources or adjusting utilization of the one or more allocated resources allocated for the self-calibration of the base station.

The UE transmits a local operation notification to a base station, the local operation notification indicating a local operation that is local to the UE. The UE receives, from the base station, a resource indicator indicating one or more resources available for the local operation. The UE performs the local operation using the one or more resources.

Methods and apparatus for communication comprise adjusting a transmission power value of one or both of a network entity and a proximate network entity from a first transmission power value to a second transmission power value based at least in part on one or both of a load level value of the network entity and a load level value of the proximate network entity to offload at least one user equipment (UE) to the proximate network entity, wherein the network entity serves the at least one UE. Further, the methods and apparatus comprise updating a power/resource management policy at the network entity based on adjusting the transmission power value of one or both of the network entity and the proximate network entity.
