摘要: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for channel quality indicator (CQI)-based downlink buffer management as well as mitigating throughput loss in dual connectivity with multi-SIM. A method that may be performed by a user equipment (UE) includes communicating with a first network on a first channel using a first technology, determining whether a tune-away associated with the first technology will occur, and outputting, for transmission to the first network on a second channel using a second technology, a channel quality indicator (CQI) report corresponding to the second channel if the tune-away will occur, wherein the CQI report indicates a lower CQI for the second channel than a current CQI for the second channel.

摘要: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may identify that it is a multi-subscriber identity module (SIM) device that supports communications with at least a first subscription corresponding to a first SIM and a second subscription corresponding to a second SIM, where the communications are transmitted or received via a single transceiver of the UE. Accordingly, the UE may simultaneously perform packet-based voice traffic using the first subscription and data communications using the second subscription, where the data communications occur during one or more durations of time in which the packet-based voice traffic is absent. For example, the UE may transmit or receive messages using the first subscription and then transmit or receive messages using the second subscription by tuning the single transceiver away from the communications for the first subscription when the packet-based voice traffic is absent.

In some aspects, a wireless communication device may identify occurrence of one or more collisions of paging of a first radio access technology (RAT) and paging of a second RAT, wherein the second RAT is associated with an asynchronous deployment; and/or identify a target cell of the second RAT to reduce occurrence of the collisions, wherein the target cell has at least one of a different temporal system frame numbering or a different system frame timing configuration than a serving cell of the wireless communication device, and wherein the target cell is identified using a primary common control physical channel (PCCPCH) of the target cell. 摘要: Various examples include methods for assisting Global Positioning System (GPS) applications using a Long Term Evolution (LTE) subscription on a wireless communication device. Various example methods may include determining whether positioning information can be obtained from a first network associated with the LTE subscription, obtaining the positioning information from the first network through the LTE subscription in response to determining that the positioning information can be obtained from the first network, translating the positioning information into a format recognizable to a GPS application executing on the wireless communication device, and providing the positioning information to the GPS application.

In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may measure a plurality of beams, from a base station, wherein the plurality of beams are associated with a corresponding plurality of monitoring occasions for a first subscription of the UE. The UE may determine whether a monitoring occasion for a second subscription of the UE collides with one or more of the plurality of monitoring occasions, for the first subscription of the UE, corresponding with the plurality of beams. The UE may transmit, to the base station, an indication of a selected beam, from the plurality of beams, based at least in part on the measuring and the determining. 摘要: A method, an apparatus, and a computer program product for wireless communication are provided. The apparatus configured to establish a wireless connection to a first network, tune away from the first network for a first predetermined interval, tune back to the first network after the first predetermined interval, enter a power control freeze state for a second predetermined interval after tuning back to the first network, send a plurality of transmissions to the first network during the second predetermined interval, determine if a number of the plurality of transmissions that are not received by the first network exceeds a first threshold or if a number of the plurality of transmissions that are retransmitted to the first network exceeds a second threshold, and exit the power control freeze state when it is determined that the first threshold is exceeded or when it is determined that the second threshold is exceeded.
