    摘要: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for channel quality indicator (CQI)-based downlink buffer management as well as mitigating throughput loss in dual connectivity with multi-SIM. A method that may be performed by a user equipment (UE) includes communicating with a first network on a first channel using a first technology, determining whether a tune-away associated with the first technology will occur, and outputting, for transmission to the first network on a second channel using a second technology, a channel quality indicator (CQI) report corresponding to the second channel if the tune-away will occur, wherein the CQI report indicates a lower CQI for the second channel than a current CQI for the second channel.

    摘要: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may measure a plurality of beams, from a base station, wherein the plurality of beams are associated with a corresponding plurality of monitoring occasions for a first subscription of the UE. The UE may determine whether a monitoring occasion for a second subscription of the UE collides with one or more of the plurality of monitoring occasions, for the first subscription of the UE, corresponding with the plurality of beams. The UE may transmit, to the base station, an indication of a selected beam, from the plurality of beams, based at least in part on the measuring and the determining. Numerous other aspects are provided.

    摘要: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may identify that it is a multi-subscriber identity module (SIM) device that supports communications with at least a first subscription corresponding to a first SIM and a second subscription corresponding to a second SIM, where the communications are transmitted or received via a single transceiver of the UE. Accordingly, the UE may simultaneously perform packet-based voice traffic using the first subscription and data communications using the second subscription, where the data communications occur during one or more durations of time in which the packet-based voice traffic is absent. For example, the UE may transmit or receive messages using the first subscription and then transmit or receive messages using the second subscription by tuning the single transceiver away from the communications for the first subscription when the packet-based voice traffic is absent.
