    Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure relate to adapting transmitter configuration for efficient concurrent primary user detection through adaptive self-interference cancellation. A wireless transmitting device may schedule a transmission in a shared spectrum. The device may scan at least a portion of the shared spectrum during the transmission to receive a signal. Interference caused by the transmission may he cancelled from the received signal using self-interference cancellation circuitry. The device may determine whether the received signal indicates usage by a primary user of the shared spectrum. In an aspect, the transmission may be a SISO transmission. In another aspect, carrier aggregation may be used for the transmission and a potential carrier may be subject to primary user detection. The device may determine a self-interference cancellation complexity for a combination of carriers including the potential carrier, and may select one or more carriers for aggregation based on the self-interference cancellation complexity.

In addition, coordination between subscribing users of PMPs, vendors who provide kiosks, and a network central controller of a content distribution system allow for prepositioning of video content at the kiosks through economically desirable low data rate communication links from the network (e.g., dial-up modem, DSL, etc.); coordinated queuing of downloads (e.g., partial downloads) between kiosk to PMP, peer-to-peer (P2P) downloading between PMPs, and uploads from PMP to kiosk; billing/crediting to correspond with such participation in the distribution; and changing priority/selection of prepositioning of content at kiosks to reflect a clientele profile.

    Abstract: A display device may include a display, an optical touch system proximate the display and a control system. The control system may be capable of receiving input for initiating a peer-to-peer data transfer and of performing an authentication process for the peer-to-peer data transfer. The authentication process may involve obtaining fingerprint images via the optical touch system. The display device may provide a prompt to position the display device proximate a second device, e.g., with the display adjacent to a display of the second device. The display may display data transfer parameters for the peer-to-peer data transfer. The optical touch system may receive a confirmation that the second device received the data transfer parameters.
