Abstract:
A composition based on cerium and niobium oxide in a proportion of niobium oxide of 2% to 20% is described. This composition can include zirconium oxide, optionally 50% of cerium oxide, 2% to 20% of niobium oxide, and at most 48% of zirconium oxide. Also described, is the use of the composition for treating exhaust gases.
Abstract:
The composition of the invention is based on oxides of zirconium, cerium, niobium and tin in proportions by weight of oxide of between 5% and 50% for cerium oxide, 5% and 20% for niobium oxide, 1% and 10% for tin oxide and the remainder being zirconium oxide. The composition may be used in a catalytic system for an SCR-type process for treating a gas that contains nitrogen oxides (NOx).
Abstract:
The present invention relates to cerium oxide particles that have excellent heat resistance and/or pore volume especially useful for catalysts, functional ceramics, solid electrolyte for fuel cells, polishing, ultraviolet absorbers and the like, and particularly suitable for use as a catalyst or cocatalyst material, for instance in catalysis for purifying vehicle exhaust gas. The present invention also relates to a method for preparing such cerium oxide particles, and a catalyst, such as for purifying exhaust gas, utilizing these cerium oxide particles.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a composition comprising at least a cerium and zirconium based mixed oxide comprising zirconium, cerium, lanthanum and optionally at least one rare earth other than cerium and lanthanum; said mixed oxide exhibiting a high thermal resistance and are in particular capable of maintaining a large specific surface area even in a high temperature environment. Also disclosed is a process for the synthesis of such compositions.
Abstract:
Disclosed are a mixed oxide composition based on zirconium and cerium exhibiting a high reducibility, the process for preparing it and its use in the field of catalysis.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a mixed oxide composed of zirconium, cerium, lanthanum and at least one rare earth oxide other than cerium and lanthanum, having a specific porosity and a high specific surface area; to the method for preparing same and to the use thereof in catalysis.
