Abstract: A utility pole assembly includes a utility pole having an inner core, and further includes a laminate structure surrounding the inner core. The laminate structure includes a reinforcing structure having fiber reinforcement, an outer layer surrounding the reinforcing structure, and a resin at least partially mixed with the reinforcing structure and the outer layer. The resin is resistant to ultraviolet (UV) radiation. A concentration of the resin in the outer layer is greater than a concentration of the resin in the reinforcing structure.

Abstract: There is described a bracket for securing a crossarm to a utility pole. The bracket includes a pole-mounting member for mounting to the utility pole by engaging a pole-receiving side of the pole-mounting member to the utility pole. The bracket further includes a crossarm-mounting member secured to the pole-mounting member. The crossarm-mounting member includes a rear plate and walls extending from the rear plate and away from the pole-receiving side of the pole-mounting member. The rear plate and the walls define a channel for receiving the crossarm.
