摘要: Reinforced cellular or noncellular molded polyurethane parts are prepared by heating a mixture of reinforcing materials and a heat-curable composition of polyisocyanates and polyols in an open or closed mold, said composition being storage-stable at room temperature and containing, optionally, auxiliaries and additives. In said composition, the polyisocyanate is dispersed in the form of discreet particles having particle diameters from 0.1 to 150 .mu.m in the polyol and the polyisocyanate particles are deactivated on their surfaces such that from 0.01 to 20 equivalent percent of the total available isocyanate groups are deactivated and such that the ratio of free isocyanate groups to hydroxyl groups is from 0.7:1 to 2.5:1.The polyurethane molded parts are suitable for use as self-supporting trim parts, reinforcement parts, or molded parts for various applications.

摘要: In an apparatus for singling sheet material, multiple picks are avoided by a retaining device ensuring that sheet material entrained with the sheet to be singled is retained not only on one side but also on the other side of the sheet to be singled. While the first retaining device is located opposite a singling gap of the singling device and is continually effective, the second retaining device acts before, or in, the singling gap from the other side of the singling gap and is only activated after the sheet to be singled is reliably grasped by the singling device, and deactivated when it has left the singling gap.

摘要: The invention concerns a method for cooling or quenching slabs and sheets (2) with water in a cooling pond (1, 14) wherein the slabs and the sheets (2), previously set upright by a tilting device (18), are lowered and temporarily maintained in position on edge. The inventive method is characterized in that the slabs and the sheets are sprayed with the cooling water. Therefor, the cooling pond (1) has, on both sides of the lowered slabs and sheets (2) jet devices (10; 11a, 11b) directed towards the surfaces of the large sides of the slabs or sheets and connected to a cooling water circuit which comprises means for reducing the water filling supply from a maximum upper water level (13b) to a lower water level (13a).
