    摘要: There is provided a system for remote monitoring a plurality of security systems connected to the Internet, the security systems being assigned dynamic IP addresses, each of the security systems comprising a remote monitoring server module, the system comprising a central alarm monitoring service connected to the Internet for periodically communicating with the plurality of security systems and determining a status thereof to generate an alarm signal as a function of the status, the alarm monitoring service storing a current IP address of the plurality of security systems in an IP address database, and a remote monitoring gateway providing authenticated or unauthenticated dynamic domain name service (DDNS) server functionality to connect a given remote monitoring client to a desired one of the security systems, the gateway being connected to the IP address database and to the Internet. There is further provided a method of remote monitoring a security system.

    摘要: Self-foaming, liquid creamers including a first liquid component including an edible acid component, and a second liquid component comprising an edible salt, each liquid being shelf-stable and being operatively associated so that when the first and second liquids are combined carbon dioxide evolves to assist in providing the foam so that, when the liquid creamer is combined with the beverage, a portion of the creamer melts or disperses in less than about 20 seconds in the beverage to impart a creaming flavor and whitening color to the beverage with the remainder of the creamer forming a foam having a density that is less than that of the beverage so as to reside on top of the beverage as a visible foam layer, and methods of making foamed beverages therewith. The amount of foam generated in the beverage is dependent on the overrun of the foaming liquid creamer.

    摘要: A simple extraction method for preparing an organic certifiable stevia extract with high sweetness and optionally with antioxidant properties is provided. The extraction method involves extraction of stevia leaves that have been dried and grinded with a hot solvent generally regarded as safe (GRAS), allowing the dissolution of the sweetening compounds naturally present therein. These sweetening compounds include steviosides and rebaudioside A, which are purified from the extracts by two or more successive chromatographic purifications steps. The sweetening compounds are then eluted with an appropriate elution solvent. The simplicity and organic certification of the method provide advantages over the methods currently employed in the stevia industry.
