摘要： An electrical harness fabrication machine which produces harnesses which comprise ribbon cable having a connector at each end. Each connector has a housing with terminals loaded therein. Prior to termination to the cable, the terminals are partially preloaded into their respective housings so that conductor engaging ends thereof are presented to a termination station for mass termination. A conductor engaging end of the terminals are free standing sections which form an insulation displacement slot therebetween. The termination assembly has a portion adjacent conductor stuffing blades for laterally supporting the conductor engaging ends of the terminals during the termination operation. In addition, pilot members are provided to cooperate with a connector nest having a preloaded connector received therein and the conductors for accurately aligning the conductors, conductor engaging ends of the terminals and the termination assembly with respect to one another.

摘要： Disclosed is economical and reliable apparatus for precisely intermittently feeding prescribed finite-lengths of edgewise perforated carrier sheet material. The intermittent feeding apparatus basically requires a rotatable drum having its cylindrical surface provided with circularly arrayed radially extending prongs that are removably engageable through the carrier edgewise perforations and which drum is intermittently rotated for a prescribed angular-value cycle so that the drum prongs feed the carrier for an approximate-length roughly equivalent to the desired exact finite-length. At the conclusion of each incremental rotation for the pronged drum, a camming assembly (having a camming first-component circularly arrayed around the drum and having a camming second-component mounted to a reciprocatable piston) rectifies the approximate-length carrier feed into the exact finite-length feed desired for the carrier sheet material.

摘要： Pedal mounted sensors are useful in motor vehicles for delivering an electrical signal correlative to the position of the accelerator pedal. The electrical signal is then used by an engine controller to regulate the amount of fuel supplied to the engine. Some pedal mounted sensors deliver analog signals which are subject to fault conditions which an engine controller can not distinguish from valid operating conditions. Remotely mounted sensors are difficult to install and repair. The subject invention is directed to pedal mounted sensors which have a potentiometer and circuit board hermetically sealed and mounted on a pedal for delivering pulse-width-modulated signal having a duty factor responsive to the pedal position.

Similar lattice-like polymer grids are mechanically attached to the grids embedded in the panels to project horizontally from the panels and to be embedded in earth fill at one side of the wall to permanently anchor the wall in position.

摘要： Heat exchanging apparatus for handling solids, slurries, gels, filter cakes, powders, and the like, for continuous indirect heating, drying, cooling or reaction of materials passed through the apparatus. The dryer/heater/cooler apparatus is characterized by a stationary horizontal vessel with a rotary heat exchanger including a tubular shaft on which are mounted a plurality of hollow vertical discs through which a heat exchanging fluid is passed. Material to be treated is admitted to one end of the apparatus housing, transported in an axial direction through the annular space between the rotor discs and the vessel toward the discharge end and discharged through an overflow weir after the desired residence time. Several rotor disc designs are shown and described.

摘要： Pedal mounted sensors are useful in vehicles for delivering an electrical signal correlative to the position of the pedal position. A pulse-width-modulated signals is preferable because it is less susceptible to signal degradation from engine noise or other factors. A pedal mount sensor capable of measuring a plurality of different angle ranges is disclosed. A stationary portion of the potentiometer includes both a mother board and a daughter board to improve manufacturability of the potentiometer. An application specific integrated circuit is substituted for direct pulse-width-modulation circuitry that permits a second, redundant circuit to be included within the potentiometer housing.

The operating mechanism comprises a transversely extending shaft which is powerably turnable in both angular directions and which is laterally co-movably mounted to the slower near-panel. Because natural stacking of such offset reinforced tags is impractical, system users thereof such as printers, laminaters, etc., are impeded or otherwise handicapped in their repetitive work. However, a uniquely positioned upright elongate-rod extending obliquely upwardly and slidably through theh respective reinforced perforations tiltably forces the individual tags'card main body into parallelism. With the aid of an upright abutment-plate having a frontal-face lying parallel to the elongate-rod plane and together with gradual upward elevation for the tags stack, successive uppermost tags are made readily available at constant-elevation for systems type users such as automatic printers, laminaters, etc.

In addition, the implants include an acoustic generator that is configured to generate an acoustic pulse in response to a signal from the controller. An external control unit is wirelessly connected with the implant for receiving various data values from the implant.
