    摘要: The new fire retardant elements are characterized in that they are foam mouldings which are elastic in the moist state and contain a liquid flameproofing impregnation, and the fire retardant elements are protected against moisture loss before installation and solidify on drying after installation. A process for the production of such fire retardant elements and mouldings which comprise such fire retardant elements are likewise described and claimed.

    摘要: Fireproofing gels based on amine salts of acid phosphates are characterized in that they comprise an aluminum component, a phosphorus component, an amine component and if appropriate water in proportions such that, at 5.degree. to 30.degree. C. for more than 24 hours, they form a mixture which is capable of flow, and on heating to temperatures above 45.degree. C. they change into a transparent gel in less than 24 hours. In addition to other uses, such fireproofing gels are particularly suitable for the production of laminated glass constructions having a fire protection action.

C. to give performs. Moldings are produced from these preforms by heating in moulds to temperatures above 180.degree. C.

    摘要: Polyurethane-based matrix materials are made by reacting a phenol which is at least bifunctional with an aromatic isocyanate which is at least difunctional in the presence of 1-40 wt. % soft segment former. The soft segment former is a compound containing long chain aliphatic groups having at least six carbon atoms in the aliphatic group, an isocyanate-reactive group and a molecular weight of from 800 to 10,000. From 90 to 130 equivalent percent of isocyanate groups (based on the total of isocyanate-reactive groups present in the phenol and soft segment former) are employed. These matrix materials are particularly useful in the production of composite materials and as adhesives.
