Abstract: The present invention relates to a fuel pump for pumping fuel, comprising a piston (2) and a diaphragm seal element (3), which seals on an inner annular seal seat (4) and an outer annular seal seat (5), wherein the following equation is satisfied: (Ra2−ra2)/(ri+L)2=ra/ri, where ri is the inner radius of the inner seal seat (4), ra is the inner radius of the outer seal seat (5), Ra is the outer diameter of the piston (2) and L is a difference between an outer radius (Ria) of the inner seal seat (4) and the inner radius (ri) of the inner seal seat (4). The invention further relates to a method for operating a fuel pump.

Abstract: The present invention provides a moisture-generating device (10) for generating a moisture-enriched air flow or gas flow, said device comprising: a housing (H) having an outflow region (3), in at least sections of which a gas flow or air flow can be generated, and having a lateral inlet region (EB), and having a mixing region (MB) which extends inside the housing (H); a water injector (WI) which is located in the lateral inlet region (EB) and by means of which atomized water can be introduced into the mixing region (MB) at the specific angle, wherein, in the mixing region (MB), the gas or air can be mixed with the atomized water; a humidifying grid (BG) which is located in the mixing region (MB) and to which the water injector (WI) is aligned; and a flow generator (SZ) which is located in the housing (H) between the mixing region (MB) and the outflow region (3) and by means of which the air flow or gas flow comprising the atomized water can be delivered to the outflow region (3) and can be generated.
