摘要: An exhaust gas aftertreatment system includes an exhaust gas conduit a mixer, and a plurality of flow disrupters. The exhaust gas conduit is centered on a conduit center axis and includes an inner surface. The mixer includes a mixer body and an upstream vane plate. The upstream vane plate has a plurality of upstream vanes. At least one of the upstream vanes is coupled to the mixer body. The flow disrupters are disposed downstream of the mixer and circumferentially around the conduit center axis. Each of the flow disrupters is coupled to the exhaust gas conduit or integrally formed with the exhaust gas conduit. Each of the flow disrupters extends inwardly from the inner surface.

摘要: A method of dispensing a graded material includes generating droplets of a first working material, the droplets having a size in the range of 10 nanometers to 10 micrometers, adding the droplets of the first working material into a carrier fluid to create a first emulsion, wherein addition of the droplets of the first working material is controlled to create gradient in the emulsion, mixing the first emulsion to create a homogenous, graded mixture, and dispensing the homogenous, graded mixture onto a surface.

摘要: A method of making a personal care composition that involves using a mixer to combine a personal care composition chassis with microcapsules. The mixer has a housing, a first fluid inlet, a second inlet, a fluid outlet and a rotor connected to the housing. The rotor has blades positioned within the housing to define cells between neighboring blades and the housing. The personal care composition chassis, which includes surfactants and water, is advanced along a flow path from the first fluid inlet toward the fluid outlet, while the microcapsules are transferred from the second inlet to the flow path by rotating the rotor. Air in the microcapsule composition is directed from inside the cells toward the second inlet, and the microcapsule composition is combined with the personal care composition chassis to form the personal care composition. The personal care composition is advanced from the outlet.

摘要: A bubble generating device is disclosed which includes: a bubble generator including a tubular body, a liquid introduction port, a gas introduction port, and a discharge port; and a gas supply unit including a gas supply port, a pressurized gas being supplied to the bubble generator through the gas supply port, wherein the flow passage of the bubble generator extends substantially along a same axis, a plurality of reduced diameter portions each having an inner diameter reduced are provided along a direction along which the liquid flows, and gas-liquid mixing portions are provided downstream of the respective reduced diameter portions in a contiguous manner, each of the gas-liquid mixing portions having an inner diameter larger than a minimum inner diameter of each of the plurality of reduced diameter portions, and the gas introduction port of the bubble generator is formed of a plurality of through holes.

摘要: The present invention generally relates to systems and methods for the control of fluids and, in some cases, to systems and methods for flowing a fluid into and/or out of other fluids. As examples, fluid may be injected into a droplet contained within a fluidic channel, or a fluid may be injected into a fluidic channel to create a droplet. In some embodiments, electrodes may be used to apply an electric field to one or more fluidic channels, e.g., proximate an intersection of at least two fluidic channels. For instance, a first fluid may be urged into and/or out of a second fluid, facilitated by the electric field. The electric field, in some cases, may disrupt an interface between a first fluid and at least one other fluid. Properties such as the volume, flow rate, etc. of a first fluid being urged into and/or out of a second fluid can be controlled by controlling various properties of the fluid and/or a fluidic droplet, for example curvature of the fluidic droplet, and/or controlling the applied electric field.

摘要: A mixing cartridge delivery system, which mixes additive with base liquid flowing through it, utilizes a dispensing closure valve to achieve improved flow of mixed liquid from the cartridge. A closure base may include a tethered lid. A flexible valve, such as a slit valve, is supported on a valve supporting end of the closure base and retained thereon with a valve retainer that interlocks with the closure base. The system may include a one-way valve for base liquid and a mixing section defined in the cartridge. The dispensing closure valve achieves improved flow characteristics in combination with the base liquid valve. The dispensing closure valve also prevents leakage and inadvertent discharge from the cartridge system.

摘要: The present disclosure generally provides methods of providing at least metastable radical molecular species and/or radical atomic species to a processing volume of a process chamber during an electronic device fabrication process, and apparatus related thereto. In one embodiment, the apparatus is a gas injection assembly disposed between a remote plasma source and a process chamber. The gas injection assembly includes a body, a dielectric liner disposed in the body that defines a gas mixing volume, a first flange to couple the gas injection assembly to a process chamber, and a second flange to couple the gas injection assembly to the remote plasma source. The gas injection assembly further includes one or more gas injection ports formed through the body and the liner.
