This may involve using a prioritizing scheme that estimates the proximity or relevance of the event to the viewers by associating the event with a geographic zone and the viewer with a localized service area served by a particular distribution points of the television content distribution system. In some cases, for each localized service area, zones are given priority values that are used when prioritizing the relevance of traffic events associated with those zones. For viewers in a given localized service area, a first zone may have a higher priority than a second zone, such that in prioritizing traffic events, events associated with the first zone are given a higher priority than events occurring in the second zone. Different zone priority schemes may be associated with a given localized service area at different times of day, week, or year. For example, a zone near the airport may have a higher priority during weekend time periods than during the week.

摘要： A snowmobile ski-type runner braking system provides a braking "claw" at the trailing end of each snowmobile ski-type runner that can be activated by the operator from his console to pivot downward into digging engagement with the snow to help brake the snowmobile. The claws are activated in unison so that balanced braking force is applied to each trailing ski end on both sides of the snowmobile. Even with the claws extended into their digging mode, the operator can still steer by turning the skis. Each claw can be actuated by an electric motor and power screw mechanism mounted on the runner. Alternately, each claw can be actuated by a hydraulic piston/cylinder mechanism mounted on the runner.

摘要： A distributor funnel for receiving friction material and for dispensing the friction material to a mold for a friction product is disclosed. The container comprises first and second half bodies. Pivot joints connect the first and second half bodies pivotally such that they are pivotable relative to one another about a pivot axis. The two half bodies resemble a duck bill which, in a closed position, form a closed funnel receiving the friction material. The two half bodies are spring-biased into the closed position. When the two half bodies are squeezed together at the top, the friction material is dispensed at the bottom of the funnel.

摘要： An automated self propelled lawn mower utilizes a pair of drive motors for independently driving left and right hand drive wheels. Each drive motor is coupled to the respective drive wheel by a double output gear reduction unit. One side of the output shaft from each gear reduction unit is provided with a rotary photo encoder for providing speed and position information relating to each drive wheel. This information from each rotary photo encoder is fed to a computer control via a computer interface. Each independent wheel drive motor is computer controlled through an interface and motor drive relays. An infrared obstacle detector is mounted on each corner of the mower frame for detecting obstructions. Grass touch detection switches on the rear of the mower frame provide an indication of the relative position of the cut or uncut grass which is fed through the computer via the interface circuit for providing computer directional control to the independent wheel drive motors which steer the mower along the proper track. A separate blade drive motor is turned on or off by a photo switch which detects uncut grass. The speed of the blade drive motor is controlled by a manual switch. A floor polishing pad may be substituted for the lawn mower blade to enable use of the device as an automated floor polisher.

摘要： A novel stripping composition and method of using same is disclosed, which stripping composition comprises:(a) a solvent comprising one or more compounds of formula (I) ##STR1## wherein R and R' are each selected independently from straight and branched alkyl having 1 to 3 carbon atoms, and phenyl, each of which phenyl is optionally substituted with one or more hydroxyl, or R and R' together are alkylene of 3 to 6 carbon atoms; and(b) a suitable organosulfonic acid.The stripping composition is especially useful for stripping positive photoresists faster and at lower temperatures than known strippers. A preferred composition comprises 10% by weight para-toluenesulfonic acid in dimethyl sulfoxide.
