摘要： A display mixer exports a first set of functions adapted to be called by one or more object libraries to create one or more generic objects. A surface/attribute manager exports a second set of functions adapted to be called by an application to manipulate the generic objects. The display mixer and the surface/attribute manager cause the generic objects to be rendered into a common draw surface. The display mixer and the surface/attribute manager manage a set of common attributes shared by the generic objects and manage attachments between the generic objects. A first object library calls a create-object function in the display mixer to create one or more first generic objects. The first object library generates display data for the first generic objects and the display mixer coordinates the display of the display data for the first generic objects.

摘要： A device for controlling a throttle cross-section of at least one control orifice in a bypass line extending around a throttle valve of an air intake pipe of an internal combustion engine, for regulating an idle speed of the internal combustion engine, and comprising a throttle member, a spring element for biasing the throttle member to an initial position thereof, and a positioning motor for moving the throttle member from its initial position against a bias force of the spring element, upon failure of the spring element and when the positioning motor is actuated, to establish a safety cross-section in the bypass line, a quantity of operating medium flowing through the safety cross-section being less than a quantity of operating medium flowing through a complete cross-section of the control orifice whereby idle operation of the internal combustion engine is insured.

摘要： In control motors having an armature rotatable counter to a spiral spring, a problem arises that the set force of the spiral spring can be changed by the process of installation. The disclosed control motor is intended to enable setting of the force of the spiral spring after installation. To enable setting of the force of the spiral spring after installation, relative to which an armature of a control motor is rotatable, a shaft on which the armature is supported is screwed with a screw end into a threaded bore of a housing bottom end. Connected to the shaft is an adjusting element, which with a driver arm engages an end portion provided on the outer end of the spiral spring. By rotating the ends of the shaft, which are accessible from outside, the force of the spiral spring can be changed. The invention is preferably applicable to idling adjusters, but it is not limited to this field of application.

摘要： To increase the resistance against high-voltage flash-over or arc-over of a distributor rotor with a built-in radio noise suppression resistor (5), the radio noise suppression resistor (5) is formed together with the distribution terminal (1) and a central contact terminal (4) in form of a plate (11) in a unitary subassembly, for example by rivet connection of the terminals to end caps (8, 9) on the resistor, the subassembly then being molded into the rotor body (6) during an injection-molding step. To provide for mechanical strength, the resistor preferably includes fiber-reinforced epoxy as a substrate or carrier, or as a jacket. Preferably, the contact plate (11) is placed at a level below that of the resistor (5) and surrounded by an insulating jacket of increasing thickness towards the plate, so that the thickness of insulating material with respect to adjacent grounded or chassis connection elements, such as an attachment flange or screw bushing (17) is increased.

摘要： Palettized image data for two or more images, represented by color lookup table (CLUT) indices, are mapped to an index space. Blended pixels are generated from the pixels in the index space using alpha blending. The blended pixels are mapped back to CLUT indices to generate palettized blended image data. In a preferred embodiment, in which the CLUT is generated based on a characterized structure in YUV space, the CLUT indices are mapped to Y and UV indices in a YUV index space. The Y and UV indices are then used to generate three-coordinate blended pixels. The three-coordinate blended pixels are then mapped back to CLUT indices of a palettized blended image. Table lookups are used to generate the blended pixels from the Y and UV indices and to map the blended pixels back to CLUT indices.

摘要： Four pole pieces embedded in the cylindrical periphery of a non-magnetic rotor disk are connected with each of a number of magnets embedded in the disk in circumferentially distributed positions spaced from the rotor shaft and from the disk periphery. Of these pole pieces, one circumferentially interleaved pair is connected with one pole of the magnet by a magnetically conducting yoke strip embedded in one circular face of the disk and the other pair is similarly connected with the other pole of the magnet. The spacing between the first and second pole piece is equal to the spacing between the third and fourth and less than that between the second and third, the latter spacing being equal to the spacing between groups of pole pieces associated with different magnets, for the case of a uniformly timed firing sequence of a multicylinder engine.

摘要： A method and apparatus for using a driver program, executing on a host processor, to control the execution of programs on an auxiliary processor is described. The host processor and auxiliary processor share a storage device. In this storage device, the driver program stores a number of ordered execution control blocks, each containing location information of a corresponding program and execution information for controlling the execution flow on the auxiliary processor. An execution control program, executing on the auxiliary processor, processes the execution control blocks in the order maintained by the driver program. The auxiliary processor processes each execution control block and executes its' corresponding program, taking the action specified by the execution information. In this manner, the driver program indirectly controls the execution of programs on the auxiliary processor.
