摘要: A system for processing data includes a processing pipeline, a progressive cache, and a cache manager. The progressive cache includes stages connected serially to each other so that an output element of a previous stage is sent as an input element to a next stage. A first stage is configured to receive input for a processing request. A last stage is configured to produce output corresponding to the input. The progressive cache includes caches arranged in an order from least finished cache elements to most finished cache elements. Each cache of the progressive cache receives an output cache element of a corresponding stage of the processing pipeline and sends an input cache element to a next stage after the corresponding stage. The cache controller routes cache elements from the processing pipeline to the progressive cache in the order from a least finished cache element to a most finished cache element and from the progressive cache to the processing pipeline in the order from the most finished cache element to the next stage after the corresponding stage.

摘要: A controller for a medical imaging system. The controller includes a hand-held unit and a base unit. The hand-held unit, operable by a hand of a user, has a first shape and a first set of user controls for effecting a first set of operations of the medical imaging system. The base unit has a cavity adapted to receive the hand-held unit. The cavity has a second shape which complements the first shape such that, when the hand-held unit is received within the cavity, a control device is formed which can be operated by one hand of a user. The base unit includes a second set of user controls for effecting a second set of operations of the medical imaging system.

摘要: A controlled-release, non-sedating antihistamine and decongestant composition which provides a 24-hour decongestant dissolution profile using standard ungranulated xanthan gum as the sole controlled-release agent and a process for preparing the same is provided. The pharmaceutical composition of the present invention typically includes: a compressed extended-release core comprising a pharmaceutically effective amount of decongestant, ungranulated xanthan gum, one or more binders, a flow agent, and a lubricant. An immediate-release coating composition is disposed on the core that typically includes a non-sedating antihistamine and at least one coating agent.

摘要: A mat for removing debris and sanitizing the shoes of a person comprises a base that has a bottom side adapted for laying on a floor surface, a top side, two side edges, a front edge, and a rear edge. The top side of the base has a pair of shoe cleaning spaces that may contain recesses therein that each defines a recess side edge. A sanitizing circuit includes a power source, one or more UV sanitizing lamps each disposed for illuminating the person's shoes within one of the shoe recesses, and a switch for applying power to the UV sanitizing lamps. As such, when the person stands with his shoes in the shoe recesses and activates the switch, the UV sanitizing lamps activate to sanitize the person's shoes, and particularly the bottom sole of the shoes and the sides of the shoes.

摘要: A computer graphics system maps textures to displayed anti-aliased images with surfaces defined at oblique angles to the viewer. A circular pixel filter is projected onto a texture map to define an elliptical footprint in that texture map. The elliptical footprint has a major axis. Sample points are determined on a line in the footprint that closely approximates the major axis. These sample points are mapped to levels of detail and locations within a mip-map. Using a space-invariant filter, a texture value is computed for each sample point using data from one or more texture maps within the mip-map. These texture values for the sample points are post-filtered using a Gaussian filter function and summed to produce a final texture value. Blending the final texture with other characteristics of the pixel a produces the pixel data that are displayed on a display screen.
