    摘要: The present invention relates to a method and system for processing a volumetric dataset for providing close-up visualization of a subset therefrom. A volumetric dataset is processed based on a dual access gradient quantization data structure. The data structure is generated in a fast pre-processing stage and provides substantially immediate access to a quantized gradient using either an index or an arbitrary normalized vector. The method provides a clear, enlarged high-resolution image of a user selected region of interest at interactive rates and allows the user to freely move and visualize the region of interest within the volumetric dataset and with any orientation.

    摘要: The present invention relates to a method and system for processing a volumetric dataset for providing close-up visualization of a subset therefrom. A volumetric dataset is processed based on a dual access gradient quantization data structure.     摘要: The present invention relates to a method for visualizing a volumetric medical imaging data set indicative of at least a vessel being imaged using a contrast agent. A first and a second range of intensity values of voxels of the volumetric medical imaging dataset are determined. The first range of intensity values is indicative of a wall of the at least a vessel and the second range of intensity values is indicative of the contrast agent. For a following silhouette rendering process a silhouette decay value is determined such that the vessel walls and the contrast agent are simultaneously visible. The visualization of the volumetric medical imaging data set such that the vessel walls and the contrast agent are simultaneously visible substantially facilitates the diagnosis of a blockage in a vessel.

    摘要: The apparatus comprises a gripping-operating unit including a gripping subassembly, a base subassembly for mounting the components of the unit and an operating subassembly. The gripping subassembly includes a gripper, from which, at one of its vertical extremity, a lever, integral with the gripper, extends horizontally. The base subassembly generally includes an elongated body and a positioning-attachment element connected to the latter. The operating subassembly comprises a spring guide block with opposed channels, a helical compression spring, located in one of the channels, and a pushing pin having a tooth like extension. Should the lever act on the pushing pin, the later, via the tooth like extension, operates against the helical compression spring, and simultaneously moves beyond the spring guide bloc.When a lock is used, a subassembly strike-stopper and a lock actuator-stopper deactivator subassembly are included.

    摘要: The present invention relates to a method and system for segmenting texture of multi-dimensional data indicative of a characteristic of an object. Received multi-dimensional data are transformed into second multi-dimensional data within a Stockwell domain based upon a polar S-transform of the multi-dimensional data. Principal component analysis is then applied to the second multi-dimensional data for generating texture data characterizing texture around each data point of the multi-dimensional data. Using a classification process the data points of the multi-dimensional data are partitioned into clusters based on the texture data. Finally, a texture map is produced based on the partitioned data points. The present invention provides image texture segmentation based on the polar S-transform having substantially reduced redundancy while keeping maximal data variation.

    摘要: A signal processing system which discriminates between voice signals and data signals modulated by a voiceband carrier. The signal processing system includes a voice exchange, a data exchange and a call discriminator. The voice exchange is capable of exchanging voice signals between a switched circuit network and a packet based network. The signal processing system also includes a data exchange capable of exchanging data signals modulated by a voiceband carrier on the switched circuit network with unmodulated data signal packets on the packet based network. The data exchange is performed by demodulating data signals from the switched circuit network for transmission on the packet based network, and modulating data signal packets from the packet based network for transmission on the switched circuit network. The call discriminator is used to selectively enable the voice exchange and data exchange.
