    摘要: An indwelling needle assembly has a hollow outer needle, an outer-needle hub fixed to the base end of the outer needle, an inner needle inserted into the outer needle, an inner-needle hub fixed to the base end of the inner needle, a tube connected to the base end (or a side section) of the outer-needle hub so that the inner cavity of the tube is communicated with the inner cavity of the outer needle, and a protector that, when the inner needle is removed from the outer needle, covers at least the point of the inner needle and disconnectably connected to the outer-needle hub. A finger hold is formed in a projecting manner on a protector cover of the protector, and the finger hold is pressed by a finger to move the outer needle in the direction of its tip relative to the inner needle. The finger hold is formed in a shape that, when the outer needle is moved in the direction of its tip relative to the inner needle, causes force applied in the direction in which the finger hold projects relative to the center axis of the outer needle to act on the finger hold.

    摘要: A method of producing an indwelling needle assembly formed by assembling an inner needle having a point only at its tip, an inner needle hub fixed to the base end of the inner needle, a hollow outer needle through which the inner needle is insertable, an outer needle hub fixed to the base end of the outer needle, and an elastic seal member on the outer needle hub effecting sealing when the inner needle is withdrawn. The method involves: inserting the inner needle into the seal member to set the inner needle to an inserted state; applying, in the inserted state, lubricant to the outer peripheral surface of at least that portion of the inner needle which protrudes from the seal member; and axially reciprocating at least one time the inner needle relative to the seal member to cause the lubricant to penetrate the inside of the seal member.

The indwelling needle assembly is designed to be used with a thumb in contact with a proximal portion of the inner needle hub. The inner needle hub is provided with a finger hold at the proximal portion thereof. At least a part of the finger hold is formed from a material less liable to slip on a medical glove.

    摘要: An indwelling needle assembly comprises an inner needle secured to an inner needle hub, a hollow outer needle in which the inner needle is positioned, an outer needle hub secured to the outer needle and having a projection at the proximal end, and an elastic protector which has a connection member with a projecting part engageable with the projection and which is detachably connected to the outer needle hub by the engagement of the projecting part with the projection. The projection of the outer needle hub comprises a tilted sliding surface on which the projecting part slidingly moves. The connection member can take a first state in which the projecting part engages the projection and a second state in which the projecting part is disengaged from the projection. When changing from the first state to the second state, the projecting part slidingly moves along the sliding surface of the projection.

    摘要: In producing a blow-out port device in a two-stage inject:on molding process by use of synthetic resin, the blow-out port device having a housing including pairs of shaft bores and pairs of circular section bosses both provided in and on opposed wall portion of a peripheral wall of the housing, and a plurality of blades each including a pair of protruding portions provided at opposite ends of each of blade bodies disposed within the housing to abut against a pair of boss and to have the same outside diameter as the boss, and a pair of support shafts projectingly provided on end faces of the protruding portions and turnably fitted in the shaft bores, the housing is forced at a primary injection step, and then, the blades are formed at a secondary injection step by use of the shaft bores in the housing as support shaft-forming cavities. Thus, it is possible to provide an air-conditioning blow-out port device having an improved appearance around a mounting portion of each blade.

    摘要: A process for producing an exterior member/seal member assembly includes: a first step of moving a slide core to protrude into a major cavity defined between first and second dies and, and injecting a hard synthetic resin into an exterior-member forming cavity partitioned in the major cavity; and a second step of retracting the slide core and injecting a soft synthetic resin into a seal-member forming cavity which is a remaining portion of the major cavity. An outer-seal-lip forming portion is connected to an outer end of the seal-member forming cavity; a recess-shaped step is formed on one side face of the slide core and adapted to define an inner-seal-lip forming portion leading to the seal-member forming cavity between the step and an inner surface of a guide bore in the second die when the slide core is retracted; and the soft synthetic resin is filled into the outer and inner-seal-lip forming portions 15 and 16 at the second step. Thus, the seal member having the pair of inner and outer seal lips can be formed and coupled to the exterior member by one stroke of the seal-member forming step, and complication of the forming step can be avoided.
