摘要: A timing detection circuit including a first timing detection circuit, a second detection circuit, and an output circuit is disclosed. The first detection circuit detects, among multiphase clocks having n mutually different phases and a frequency of k times the frequency of a reference clock, a closest clock having a clock edge closest to a valid edge of the synchronizing signal and generates first detect signal DET_A indicating the detected clock. The second timing detection circuit detects within which of k successive cycles of the representative clock selected from the multiphase clocks the valid edge of the synchronizing signal is positioned and generates second detect signal DET_B indicating the detected cycle. The output circuit receives the first detect signal and the second detect signal and outputs first output signal OUT_A and second output signal OUT_B.

摘要: In a primary-cell of the type in which a cathode or anode increases its apparent volume as the discharge proceeds, thereby absorbing the electrolyte, at least between a cell enclosure which serves as one of the terminals of the primary-cell or top closure and the cathode or anode electrically connected thereto is interposed a spacer which contains electrolyte, is electrically conductive and reduces its apparent volume when the pressure is applied thereto, thereby squeezing the electrolyte out of it.

摘要: This invention uses as the anode active material a zinc alloy containing Ni, at least one element selected from In, Pb, Ga and Cd and, optionally further, one element selected from Al, Mg, Ca, Ba and Sr for the anode of a conventional zinc-alkaline battery which employs zinc as the anode active material, aqueous alkaline solution as the electrolyte, and manganese dioxide, silver oxide, oxygen and so forth as the cathode active material. The use of such zinc alloy permits the reduction of the amount of mercury to be used for amalgamation of the anode zinc surface which is made for the purpose of corrosion inhibition, thereby enabling the provision of a low-pollution zinc-alkaline battery.

摘要: This invention uses a zinc alloy containing In, one element of Al or Mg and, optionally, one or both of Pb and Cd for the anode of a zinc-alkaline battery which employs zinc as an active material of the anode (2), aqueous alkaline solution as an electrolyte, and manganese dioxide, silver oxide, oxygen and so forth as an active material of the cathode (5). The use of such zinc alloy permits the reduction of the amount to be used of mercury employed for amalgation of the anode zinc surface with the object of corrosion inhibition, thereby enabling the provision of a low pollution zinc-alkaline battery.

摘要: A process for producing a solid electrolyte primary cell comprising a lithium anode and an iodine containing cathode. In the process the cell undergoes preliminary cell discharge of at least 2 mAh per cm.sup.2 of the lithium anode surface immediately after its fabrication. Alternatively, the cell may be stored at a relatively low temperature to undergo preliminary self-discharge of at least 3 mAh per cm.sup.2 of the anode surface.
