Abstract: A pane has an electrical connection element and connection cable including a substrate, an electrically conductive structure on a region of the substrate, wherein the connection cable has, on its lower face facing the substrate, a contact region, in which a conductor track of the connection cable is connected to the region of the electrically conductive structure, the connection element is rigid and has a first flat region for contacting the connection cable, the connection element with the conductor track of the connection cable on an upper face of the connection cable facing away from the substrate is electrically conductively connected to the connection cable via a weld region, the contact region of the connection cable and the first flat region of the connection element are arranged one above the other such that the flat region of the connection element is provided for transferring heat to the soldering compound.

Abstract: The described methods and devices disclose panes with an electrical connection element for motor vehicles with electrically conductive structures such as heating conductors or antenna conductors. The electrically conductive structures may be connected to the vehicle's electrical system via connecting elements. The connecting elements can be flexible connection cables that may be outfitted with a standardized plug connector. According to the disclosed teachings, the process of installing such panes within the vehicle body is simple and time-saving.

Abstract: A soldering tip for a soldering iron is presented. In one aspect, the soldering tip is used in a hand-held soldering iron for soldering an electrical connection element on an electrically conductive structure on a substrate. The soldering tip includes a substantially hemispherical end portion. Abstract: A glazing includes at least one substrate one portion of which includes an electrically conductive element, the conductive element including a connector made of chromium-containing steel, which connector is soldered with a solder based on tin, silver and copper to an electrically conductive track, wherein the electrically conductive track, which is formed by fritting a silver paste including a mixture of silver powder and glass frit, has a resistivity measured at 25° C. lower than or equal to 3.5 μΩ·cm and a porosity level lower than 20%, the porosity level being measured by scanning electron microscopy from a cross section through the portion of the substrate including the electrically conductive track and having been polished beforehand by ion milling.

Abstract: An assembly that includes a vehicle window and a window support is presented. The vehicle window has two individual panes that are bonded by an adhesive layer. The window support has a connection segment, forming a holder, for mechanically connecting to the vehicle window. An electrical contact element that is partially arranged within the holder is fastened to the window support. The electrical contact element, which has the form of a ribbon conductor, serves to electrically contact an electrical counter contact element of the vehicle window. According to one aspect, the electrical contact element is routed, from between the two individual panes, out of the vehicle window, and is fastened to a surface of the vehicle window.
