According to an embodiment, a processor of a wearable device may identify a first visual object among a plurality of visual objects in a first image frame displayed through the display. The processor may identify, based on identifying the first visual object, a second visual object associated with the first visual object. The processor may obtain, after the second visual object is identified, a second image frame via the camera. The processor may modify at least a portion of the second image frame in which at least one of other visual objects of the plurality of visual objects different from the first visual object and the second visual object is removed. The processor may display, via the display, the second image frame including the modified portion.

According to an embodiment, a processor of an electronic device identifies a plurality of subjects associated with the content, based on a request to display content within an active area of the display. The processor obtains a sequence of the plurality of subjects based on the plurality of subjects from the content. The processor displays a plurality of visual objects corresponding to each of the plurality of subjects based on the sequence and display the content according to a first magnification. The processor displays, among a first portion of the content corresponding to at least one subject selected based on the sequence among the plurality of subjects, or a second portion of the content different from the first portion, the first portion in the active area, based on a size of the active area controlled by the actuator by adjusting a magnification of the content to a second magnification.

In the method, when a message is received from a designated subscriber, a control unit of the apparatus stores the received message in a corresponding application buffer and also links the received message to a combined message buffer corresponding to the designated subscriber. When there is a request for viewing messages received from the designated subscriber, the control unit lists received messages of all types linked to the combined message buffer corresponding to the designated subscriber.

Provided are a method of managing contents in a portable terminal which may, in integrated fashion, display contents stored in other locations on one screen and conveniently manage the contents according to similarity of the contents, and an apparatus thereof. The method for managing, in integrated fashion, contents in a portable terminal including: receiving contents having different storage locations and displaying, in integrated fashion, the received contents on one screen. An apparatus and method for setting a fingerprint recognition region in an electronic device are provided. An electronic device includes a display, a finger scan sensor overlapped with at least a partial region of the display, and a processor. The processor controls to detect a touch input for at least one object displayed at the display, when detecting a first fingerprint image through a fingerprint recognition region corresponding to the touch input, enlarge a size of the fingerprint recognition region, detect a second fingerprint image through the enlarged fingerprint recognition region, and when having succeeded in user authentication by using the second fingerprint image, perform a function corresponding to the at least one object.
