Abstract:
An electronic device and a method of operating the electronic device are provided. The electronic device includes a sensor module including a transmitter, a first receiver, and a second receiver; and a processor operatively connected with the sensor module, wherein the processor is configured to output a first signal using the transmitter, receive the first signal using the first receiver, receive a second signal using the second receiver, wherein the second signal is the first signal reflected by a part of a user's body after a tissue-light interaction within the part of the user's body, identify the user's biometric information based on, at least, first data and second data, wherein the first data is based on the first signal and the second data is based on the second signal, and provide the biometric information to the user.
Abstract:
A wearable device according to various embodiments may include a biometric sensor, an output device, and a processor operatively coupled with the biometric sensor and the output device, and configured to obtain food intake information of a user corresponding to the wearable device, to obtain biometric information of the user by using the biometric sensor, to identify a digestibility of the food of the user, based at least in part on a change of the biometric information corresponding to the food intake information, and to provide information of the digestibility, using the output device.
Abstract:
An electronic device for measuring hydrature, and a method for the same are disclosed. The electronic device includes a display, a capacitive sensor and a processor implementing the method, including setting an attribute of a capacitive sensor using a first value, acquiring a first data measurement from the capacitive sensor in when an external object contacts a display and determining that a touch input has occurred based on the first data, detecting whether the determined touch input satisfies a prespecified condition, setting the operational attribute of the capacitive sensor using a second value when the prespecified condition is satisfied, acquiring a second data measurement from the capacitive sensor while the external object contacts the display when the at least one operational attribute is set using the second value, and determining a hydrature value associated with the external object at least based on the acquired second data measurement.
Abstract:
A method for saving a battery power of a terminal includes receiving a touch input on a touch screen, detecting an input stop event where the touch input is stopped, switching the touch screen to a turned-off state or a dim state, in response to the input stop event, and detecting an input resume event where the touch input is resumed during the turned-off state or the dim state, and switching the touch screen to be a turned-on state in response to the input resume event. Other embodiments including an apparatus for saving a battery power are also disclosed.
