Abstract: An example display apparatus includes a liquid crystal panel; a light source plate including a printed circuit board disposed behind the liquid crystal panel, and a light source module mounted on the printed circuit board to supply light to the liquid crystal panel. The light source module includes a light emitting diode (LED) chip; a light guide provided to guide the light emitted from the LED chip; a light converter provided to convert a wavelength of light guided through the light guide, and disposed on a first surface of the light guide and attached to the printed circuit board; and a distributed Bragg reflector (DBR) layer disposed on a second surface of the light guide body and provided to improve a light conversion efficiency of the light conversion member.

Abstract: A display device may have a reduced thickness while having enhanced color reproducibility by having an improved structure. The display device may include: a liquid crystal panel; a light source plate which is arranged at the rear of the liquid crystal panel to provide light to the liquid crystal panel, and which includes a printed circuit board and an LED chip mounted on the printed circuit board; and a chip cover which is provided to cover a light-emitting surface of the LED chip, and which changes the wavelength of the light emitted from the LED chip, wherein the chip cover includes: a cover layer having a first surface arranged to face the light-emitting surface of the LED chip, a second surface opposite to the first surface, and an accommodating groove provided on the second surface; a light conversion member which changes the wavelength of the light emitted from the LED chip, and which is accommodated in the accommodating groove; and a barrier layer for covering the second surface to cover the light conversion member from the outside.

Abstract: A liquid crystal display device includes a light source, a light collection part, a liquid crystal part, and an anisotropic diffusion layer. The light source emits light. The light collection part collects the light emitted from the light source in the front direction of the liquid crystal display device so that, when an image is displayed, the light collecting property in a left-right direction is different from the light collecting property in an updown direction. The liquid crystal part controls a transmission state of the light collected by the light collection part using a liquid crystal.
