Abstract: A gate driving apparatus and an array substrate using the same are described. The gate driving apparatus comprises a driving circuit for outputting a first gate signal during a signal period wherein the signal period comprises an activated interval and an inactivated interval; a gate signal-processing module for receiving the first gate signal and processing the first gate signal to generate a second gate signal wherein the second gate signal comprises a first amplitude level during the inactivated interval; and a control unit activates the gate signal-processing module in the activated interval or inactivates the gate signal-processing module in the inactivated interval; wherein when the gate signal-processing module is in the activated interval, a first resistance value is formed to adjust the received first gate signal to generate the second gate signal having a second amplitude level, and the second amplitude level is less than the first amplitude level.

Abstract: The invention provides a circuit for processing a gate voltage signal supplied for a liquid crystal display device. The circuit includes an input-output circuit and a control circuit. The input-output circuit receives the gate voltage signal. The control circuit receives a control signal and is subjected to the control of the control signal to make the input-output circuit to output first through fourth output signals in first through fourth time segments respectively during each period based on the gate voltage signal. In the circuit for processing a gate voltage signal supplied for a liquid crystal display device according to any one exemplary embodiment of the invention, the gate voltage signal can be changed to be different values in different time segments of each period so as to decrease voltage dropping speed of the gate voltage signal, impact on a reference voltage of the liquid crystal display device is reduced.

Abstract: A scan driver includes: a series-connected N scan driving units; a first switch, a second switch, and a third switch. The control ends of the first switch, the second switch, and the third switch are all connected to the first node. The input ends of the first switch and the second switch receive a scan starting signal. The output end of the first switch is connected to the first scanning driving unit, the output end of the second switch is connected to the Nth scanning driving unit. The input end of the third switch receives a second high-voltage-level signal, the output end of the third switch is connected to a second node and is grounded, and the N scanning driving units are all connected to the second node. Through controlling the voltage level of the first node, the scan driver can achieve bi-directional scanning function.

Abstract: The control circuit includes a PCB and a timing control board having a first connection terminal, a switch, and an operation circuit. The first connection terminal is connected to a control terminal of the switch turning on and off the switch. An input terminal of the switch has a first voltage and an output terminal is connected to the operation circuit. The PCB includes sequentially positioned second, third, and fourth connection terminals. The third connection terminal has a voltage different from those on the second and fourth terminals. When the first connection terminal is connected to the third connection terminal, the switch is turned on, the output terminal has the first voltage, and the operation circuit is powered to function. When the first connection terminal is connected to the other connection terminals, the switch is turned off, the output terminal has zero voltage, and the operation circuit stops to function.

Abstract: There provides a liquid crystal display and a data driver thereof. The data driver includes: an output module for outputting N groups of data voltage sets to N groups of data line sets; and N selection modules, each one corresponding to one group of data voltage set and one group of data line set; wherein each selection module selects data voltages of the corresponding group of data voltage set to provide to data lines in the corresponding group of data line set according to different control signals when the liquid crystal display drives pixels in different polarity reversal manners.
