    Abstract: A quality control standard for peptide (including protein) measurement, and a quality control for peptide (including proteins) measurement are provided. A QC standard sample for measurement of a target peptide, the QC standard sample comprising: a blood sample comprising a peptide, and a peptide labeled with a stable isotope that is spiked into said blood sample. The target peptide to be measured includes, for example, at least one selected from the group consisting of Aβ1-42 (SEQ ID NO.: 9), Aβ1-38 (SEQ ID NO.: 11), Aβ1-40 (SEQ ID NO.: 7), and APP669-711 (SEQ ID NO.: 10). The peptide labeled with a stable isotope that is spiked into the blood sample includes, for example, at least one selected from the group consisting of SIL-Aβ1-42, SIL-Aβ1-38, SIL-Aβ1-40, and SIL-APP669-711.

    Abstract: One mode of the present invention provides a laser power adjustment method for ionization in a laser desorption/ionization mass spectrometer, the laser power adjustment method including: a measurement step (S1) in which intensity information on ions derived from a specific component in a specimen are acquired while changing laser power in n stages (n is 3 or more) for the identical specimen; and a processing step (S2, S6, and S7) in which a slope of a straight line connecting two adjacent plot points on a laser power axis is calculated in a two-axis graph in which a relationship between n ionic intensities obtained by the measurement step or a signal value, which is an SN ratio obtained from the ionic intensities, and laser power is plotted; an index value reflecting a ratio between a forward slope value, which is a slope of a straight line on a front side of the plot point, and a backward slope value, which is a slope of a straight line on a rear side, is obtained for each plot point; and appropriate laser power is selected using the index value.

    Abstract: In a sample pretreatment device, a container storage section (2) holds multiple containers, including a first well plate having wells in an N×M matrix form and a second well plate having N elongated wells whose length corresponds to M wells in one row of the first well plate or M elongated wells whose length corresponds to N wells in one column of the first well plate. A dispensing section (3) includes: a platform (30) on winch containers can be placed; a pipette unit (311, 312) including an M-channel tip corresponding to M wells in one row of the first well plate or an N-channel tip corresponding to N wells in one column of the first well plate; and a pump unit (313) for suctioning/ejecting a liquid from/into a container on the platform through the pipette unit. A transfer section (4) transfers containers between the container storage section and the platform. A controller (5) controls operations of the dispensing section and the transfer section.

    Abstract: In the analysis method according to the present invention, a predetermined peptide is separated by immunoprecipitation using an antibody which specifically binds to either an N-terminus or a C-terminus of the predetermined peptide. The separated predetermined peptide is digested with a protease to prepare peptide fragments, and among the peptide fragments, a peptide fragment at a terminus opposite to a terminus binding to the antibody is mass-spectrometrically detected.
