    Abstract: An unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) includes a central body having a first side and a second side opposite to the first side, and a first arm and a second arm extendable from the central body and respectively disposed on the first side and the second side. Each arm of the first arm and the second arm includes a plurality of sections and holds a set of rotor blades via a rotor shaft, and the plurality of sections includes a first section and a second section rotatably connected to the first section. The each arm of the first arm and the second arm is configured to transform between a flight configuration in which the second section of the each arm is extended away from the central body and a compact configuration in which the plurality of sections of the each arm are located at a corresponding side of the central body.

    Abstract: The present disclosure discloses method and device for controlling the light emitting module, an electronic device, a UAV light emitting system, and a non-transitory computer-readable storage medium, the light emitting module being installed on a movable platform. The technical solution includes determining a controlled state of the movable platform based on a received remote control signal; obtaining a light control instruction with a highest priority based on priorities of different signal sources configured corresponding to the controlled state, the signal source being used to initiate the light control instruction for controlling the light emitting module; and controlling a light emitting state of the light emitting module by executing the light control instruction with the highest priority.

    Abstract: A base station for automated battery pack or payload exchange and methods for using the same. The base station provides a landing surface for receiving a mobile platform and includes a manipulator controlled by a manipulator compartment for accessing resource storage. The base station is operable to ascertain a location of the mobile platform on the landing surface and move the manipulator to the mobile platform. Thereby, the base station system advantageously accommodates low-accuracy landing of the mobile platform and further enables extended and autonomous operation of the mobile platform without the need for user intervention for exchanging battery packs and payloads.
