摘要: The present invention relates to a warm rolling method for high Si steel strips, in which the steel strip is connected at both ends with leader strips which are excellent in cold or warm workability, and the ends of the leader strips are connected to tension reels for undertaking warm rolling on the steel strip. Whereby the leader strips are passed through rolls, the rolls can be preheated, and further whereby the both tension reels are disposed within warming furnaces and at least one of the leader strips is made longer than a distance between the tension reels, recovery treatment between passes can be carried out on the steel strip in the full length.

摘要: The present invention relates to a warm rolling facility suited to rolling of brittle strip coils such as high Si steels. The facility is provided with a rolling machine, tension reels disposed respectively at an inlet side and an outlet side of the rolling machine, deflector rolls between each of the tension reels and the rolling machine. The tension reels are positioned in warming furnaces having heating means, and the rolls and the deflector rolls are provided with means for heating the rolls. Further, the rolling machine is provided at its inlet and outlet with heating apparatuses for heating the strip.

摘要: The present invention relates to a process for making non-oriented high Si steel sheet without problems during the sequence from the step of making molten steel to the step of rolling to final sheet thickness. An ingot (or a continuously cast piece) of high Si steel (containing 4.0 to 7.0% Si and specified with Al, Mn, C and P) is subjected to slabbing-hot rolling (or else directly slab rolling-hot rolling) and subsequently the hot rolled steel is reduced to thin thickness. The steel material is maintained at temperature of more than a determined temperature from the step of making molten steel to the step of hot rolling. In the step of hot rolling, information regarding finish rolling conditions and coiling conditions is used to provide structure suitable for the subsequent thin rolling. The hot rolled steel is then warm-rolled to the required thickness.
