    摘要: A power generation system includes integrated photovoltaic (PV) panels. Each of the integrated PV panel includes photovoltaic cells, a junction coupler coupling the photovoltaic cells in series, in parallel, or in combinations thereof, output terminals, and a DC to AC converter coupled between the junction coupler and the output terminals. The DC to AC converter includes switching devices and the integrated PV panels are coupled in series at the respective output terminals. A controller is provided in the power generation system for generation switching command signals for the switching devices of the integrated PV panels to synthesize an output voltage of the power generation system.

    摘要: A power generation system that includes a prime mover configured to generate mechanical energy. The power generation system also includes a power generator configured for generating electrical power from the mechanical energy received from the prime mover. The power generation system further includes a fault ride-through switch electrically coupled in series between the power generator and a power grid. The fault ride-through switch includes a first branch configured to carry the electrical power during normal operating conditions and includes an LC resonance circuit. The fault ride-through switch also includes a multiphase transformer configured for providing voltage phases of different polarities to the LC resonance circuit. The fault ride-through switch further includes a second branch coupled in parallel with the first branch and including a resistive element and an inductive element electrically coupled in series wherein the resistive element configured to absorb the electrical power during fault conditions.

The power transmission system includes at least one power substation for receiving power from a power source, and a Direct Current (DC) cable for transferring the power from the power source to the power substation. The DC cable includes a plurality of segments individually or in combination forming a path to route the power to the power substation. The system further includes at least one segment switch unit electrically coupled to each segment. At least one of the segment switch units includes a shorting switch element for providing a short circuit path to prevent the power from the power source to be routed to a respective segment in response to a shorting command, and a disconnect switch element for disconnecting the respective segment in response to a disconnect command.

    摘要: A torsional mode damping controller system is connected to a converter that drives an electrical machine mechanically connected to a train. The controller system includes an input interface configured to receive measured data related to variables of the converter or the electrical machine, and a controller connected to the input interface. The controller calculates at least one dynamic torque component along a section of a shaft of the train based on the data from the input interface, generates control data for the converter for damping a torsional oscillation in the mechanical drive train based on the at least one dynamic torque component, and sends the control data to the converter for modulating an active power exchanged between the converter and the electrical machine.
