    Abstract: A manufacturing method of a liquid crystal display according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention includes: a step of preparing a lower panel in which a pixel electrode is formed and which is coated with a lower alignment layer including reactive mesogen; a step of preparing an upper panel in which a common electrode is formed and which is coated with an upper alignment layer including reactive mesogen; a step of forming a display panel assembly by injecting a liquid crystal between the lower panel and the upper panel and bonding the lower panel and the upper panel; a step of pre-tilting the liquid crystal by applying a voltage to the display panel assembly and primarily irradiating ultraviolet rays having a wavelength of 310 nm to 380 nm; and a step of removing remaining reactive mesogen by secondarily irradiating ultraviolet rays having a wavelength of 300 nm to 360 nm to the display panel assembly.

    Abstract: A display device includes a pixel disposed in a display area. The pixel includes a first electrode; a first insulating layer disposed on the first electrode, and including openings, each of the openings exposing different areas of the first electrode and defining respective cells; light emitting elements disposed in the respective cells, each of the light emitting elements including a first end electrically connected to the first electrode; and a second end protruding upward from the first insulating layer; and a second electrode disposed on the light emitting elements, and electrically connected to the second ends of each of the light emitting elements.

    Abstract: A tiled display device includes: a first display device including: a first display substrate having a plurality of light emitting areas; and a second color conversion substrate comprising a plurality of light transmitting areas respectively corresponding to the light emitting areas and comprising a light scattering material and a plurality of light blocking areas between the light transmitting areas; a second display device comprising a second display substrate and a second color conversion substrate, the second display device being at a side of the first display device; and a light scattering member between the first display device and the second display device and comprising a light scattering material, wherein an external light reflectance of the light scattering member is higher than an average value of an external light reflectance of the light transmitting areas and an external light reflectance of the light blocking areas.

    Abstract: A display device may include a pixel circuit layer. A first electrode and a second electrode may be on the pixel circuit layer and spaced from each other. A first insulating layer may be on the pixel circuit layer, the first electrode, and the second electrode. A conductive pattern may be on the first insulating layer and electrically insulated from the first electrode and the second electrode. The bank may be on the conductive pattern. Light emitting elements may be located on the first insulating layer between the first electrode and the second electrode, and electrically coupled to the first electrode and the second electrode.
