    Abstract: The disclosure relates to a 5G or 6G communication system for supporting a higher data transmission rate. A method for determining a Public Land Mobile Network, PLMN, with disaster condition by an AMF in a wireless network is provided.     Abstract: A method of handling an ongoing call performed by a UE in a wireless network is provided. The method includes initiating a voice over long term evolution (VoLTE) call in a 4th generation (4G) network, detecting that a 5th generation (5G) network entity has configured an inter radio access technology (I-RAT) measurement indicating a change from the 4G network to a 5G network based on identification of the 5G network by the UE, determining whether at least one of the UE or the 5G network does not support a voice over new radio (VoNR) call with a 5G cell in the 5G network, and performing one of delaying sending a measurement report until the VoLTE call is completed in response to determining that the at least one of the UE or the 5G network does not support the VoNR call, or sending the measurement report immediately for the 5G cell in response to determining that both the UE and the 5G network support the VoNR call.

    Embodiments herein provide a method for providing voice call and data service simultaneously on plurality of SIM in EN-DC capable UE. The method also includes determining a 4G bearer is established on the T1 and a 5G bearer is established on the T2 by the first network using the first SIM. Further, the method also includes determining the voice call is being initiated on the second SIM when the data service is active on the first SIM through the T1 and the T2; and configuring the second SIM to provide the voice call over the T2 and the first SIM to provide the data services over the T1.

In an embodiment, the method includes selecting RPLMN as PLMN with the disaster condition for accessing the disaster roaming services in response to determining that the RPLMN is included in a list of PLMNs with disaster condition for which disaster roaming services is offered by another PLMN and is allowable. In another embodiment, the method includes skipping the RPLMN and determining a PLMN with disaster condition for acessing the disaster roaming services in response to determining that the at least one PLMN is not included in the list of PLMNs with the disaster condition for which disaster roaming services is offered by the another PLMN or is not allowable.
