Provided are a diagnostic model generating apparatus and a diagnostic model generating method therefor. The diagnostic model generating method may comprising: extracting at least one keyword from consultation data between a user and a consultant for resolving electronic device errors; on the basis of the at least one extracted keyword, determining a diagnostic sequence between the plurality of diagnostic commands for resolving errors and a plurality of diagnostic commands; and storing a diagnostic model comprising the plurality of determined diagnostic commands and determined diagnostic sequence.

A user terminal device is provided. The user terminal device includes: a communicator; a display; and a processor configured to receive a message from another electronic device through the communicator, control the display to display the received message, and based on the received message being a multimedia message including at least one of an image, a sound, and a video by analyzing the received message, control the display to display a recommended response list corresponding to a type of content included in a multimedia message. Therefore, convenience of a user using the user terminal device is improved.

A GUI providing method and a GUI providing apparatus are provided. According to the GUI providing method, a GUI from among GUIs for an external apparatus connected to a video apparatus is determined and displayed. Accordingly, if there are many GUIs for an apparatus, a GUI most suitable for the current circumstance is automatically determined and provided to a user.
Abstract:
A video encoding and decoding methods and apparatuses for performing the methods thereof are provided. The video encoding method includes: determining a region in a current image having a change in at least one of a scale and an angle with respect to a reference image; generating variation information representing a variation in at least one of the scale and the angle between the region in the current image and a reference region in the reference image corresponding to the region in the current image; and encoding residual information representing a difference between a predicted sample value from the reference image and a sample value of the current image based on the generated variation information.
