    Abstract: An electronic device is provided. The electronic device includes a housing having a first face, a second face that faces a direction opposite to the first face, and a side face that encloses at least a portion of a space between the first face and the second face, a touch sensing circuit disposed within the housing, a communication circuit disposed within the housing, a transparent substrate that forms at least a portion of the first face, the second face, and the side face of the housing, at least one display disposed within the housing along at least a portion of the transparent substrate, a first conductive pattern disposed between the transparent substrate and the at least one display or inside the at least one display, and electrically connected with the touch sensing circuit, and a second conductive pattern disposed between the transparent substrate and the first conductive pattern, and electrically connected with the wireless communication circuit.

    Abstract: An electronic device according to an embodiment may include a housing, which includes a front structure and a rear structure attached to each other, and a touch screen display. The front structure of the housing may include a first plate facing a first direction and a side plate extending from the first plate. The first plate may have a first thickness. The side plate may have a second thickness larger than the first thickness. The side plate may include a first surface facing a peripheral portion of the rear structure. The rear structure may include a second plate facing a second direction opposite the first direction and a second surface facing the first surface. The first surface may face a third direction. The second surface may face a fourth direction. The third and fourth directions may be configured to differ from the first and second directions, respectively. The touch screen display may have at least a part exposed through at least a part of the first plate. Other various embodiments may be possible.

    Abstract: An apparatus and method for applying digital pre-distortion (DPD) technology in an electronic device which uses an envelope tracking (ET) method is provided. The electronic device includes an antenna, a modem, a transceiver configured to convert a signal generated in the modem into a radio frequency signal, an ET modulator configured to supply power to a power amplifier based on an amplitude component of the signal generated in the modem, and the power amplifier configured to amplify power of a signal received from the transceiver based on an output signal of the ET modulator. The modem generates a signal by using a DPD) variable corresponding to output impedance of the power amplifier caused by the antenna from among a plurality of DPD variables.

    Abstract: According to one or more embodiments, an electronic device includes a housing including a first surface facing a first direction and a second surface facing a second direction opposite to the first direction, where a transparent cover forms at least one part of the first surface. The electronic device also includes a touch screen display disposed between the first surface and second surface of the housing and exposed through the transparent cover, a pressure sensor disposed between the touch screen display and the second surface of the housing, and having an active area for sensing pressure placed on the first surface by an external object and an inactive area disposed around the active area, a Printed Circuit Board (PCB) disposed between the pressure sensor and the second surface of the housing, and an electrically conductive connection member for electrically connecting the pressure sensor and the PCB. The electrically conductive connection member may be at least partially overlap with the active area of the pressure sensor when the electronic device is viewed in the second direction. Other embodiments are also disclosed.

    Abstract: According to various embodiments of the present disclosure, an electronic device may include a housing, a conductive pattern that is arranged within the housing and is formed to generate a magnetic field, a plate that forms at least a part of a first surface of the housing and includes a material that at least partially transmits the magnetic field generated by the conductive pattern, and a communication circuit that is configured to transmit at least one transaction information to an external device by using the conductive pattern. The conductive pattern may include a first end that is electrically connected to the communication circuit, a second end that is electrically connected to the communication circuit, and a coil that is connected between the first end and the second end and includes a plurality of turns that are substantially parallel to a surface of the plate.
