    Abstract: A display device includes a light guide plate; an input grating on a first surface of the light guide plate and configured to generate a diffracted transmission beam; an output grating on the first surface of the light guide plate and spaced apart from the input grating, wherein the output grating is configured to generate a first output beam emitted from the light guide plate; and an optical efficiency enhancement layer on a second surface of the light guide plate and overlapping at least one of the input grating and the output grating in a traveling direction of the input beam, the second surface being opposite to the first surface.

    Abstract: A light emitting diode (LED) package includes a substrate having a pair of first wiring electrodes and a pair of second wiring electrodes, an LED chip on the substrate, the LED chip being electrically connected to the pair of first wiring electrodes, a wavelength conversion film on the LED chip, an electrochromic film on the wavelength conversion film, the electrochromic film electrically connected to the pair of second wiring electrodes, and the electrochromic film being configured to have a first color before application of a voltage and to be transparent after application of the voltage, an optical lens on the electrochromic film, and a lateral structure having a reflective layer covering at least a portion of a lateral surface of each of the LED chip and the wavelength conversion film, and a color layer on the reflective layer and having a second color.

    Abstract: A light source module includes a substrate, a plurality of light emitting devices disposed along a line on the substrate, and a lens. The lens extends in a long-axis direction in which the plurality of light emitting devices are aligned to cover the substrate and the plurality of light emitting devices, and has end sides opened at opposing ends of the lens in the long-axis direction. The lens has a first surface to which light from the plurality of light emitting devices is made incident, and a second surface allowing light made incident through the first surface to be radiated outwardly. The lens has a variable thickness, measured as a distance between the first surface and the second surface, in a cross-section of the lens along a plane orthogonal to the long-axis direction.

    Abstract: Provided is a display device including a light guide plate; a reflective prism configured to reflect an imaging beam toward the light guide plate, wherein the imaging beam reflected by the reflective prism travels within the light guide plate at an angle greater than a critical angle of the light guide plate; and a diffraction grating configured to diffract the imaging beam traveling within the light guide plate to an angle less than or equal to the critical angle of the light guide plate, wherein the reflective prism includes a first surface in contact with the light guide plate, and a second surface configured to reflect the imaging beam.
