A discharging unit and air conditioning equipment having the discharging unit are provided. The air conditioning equipment includes a main body including a housing that houses a heat exchanger and a blowing fan and an inlet and an outlet formed in an outer surface of the housing, wherein interior air flows into the inlet and the air exchanged with heat is discharged through the outlet. The air conditioning equipment also includes a discharging part including an end detachably combined with the outlet. The discharging part includes a plurality of discharging units configured to adjust a discharging velocity and discharging direction of the discharged air and to be connected to one another so as to be made into a module.

A method and system for providing information that enables easier and quicker access to an item related to a context of a device, and a computer-readable recording medium thereof are provided. The method includes detecting a context of a device, and displaying at least one virtual space corresponding to the detected context on a screen of the device. The virtual space is a Graphic User Interface (GUI) that is configured to register the detected context and information related to at least one item.

A system and a method of connecting devices via a Wireless-Fidelity (Wi-Fi) network are provided. The method of communication-connecting an external device to an Access Point (AP) via a Wi-Fi network is performed by a device and includes operations of receiving device information of the external device from the external device that operates in an AP mode, accessing the external device that operates in the AP mode, by using the device information, and providing connection information relating to the AP to the external device, and wherein, when the connection information is provided to the external device, the external device terminates operating in the AP mode, and the external device then accesses the AP based on the connection information.

Provided are a photoacoustic apparatus and method of operating the same. The photoacoustic apparatus includes: a laser module that generates laser light and transmits a laser state signal indicating a state of a laser module; a probe including an optical output unit for irradiating laser light generated by the laser module onto an object and a scanner for detecting a photoacoustic signal that is generated from the object; a scanner controller for controlling a position of the scanner; a sequence controller for controlling acquisition of the photoacoustic signal based on the laser state signal; a signal receiver that is controlled by the sequence controller to acquire the photoacoustic signal; and a photoacoustic image generator for generating a photoacoustic image based on the photoacoustic signal. The laser state signal includes a lasing ready state signal and a laser exposure state signal.

A water level detecting device and a dehumidifier including the same are provided. The water level detecting device comprises a guide arranged within a water container for collecting a condensate water generated as a dehumidifying function is performed, a sensing object inserted within the guide and configured to ascend on the condensate water collected in the water container, and a sensor arranged in a main body of a dehumidifier which the water container is mounted to and dismounted from, and configured to sense a movement of the sensing object. The water level of the water container is set to any of at least two different water levels according to an inserting direction of the sensing object inserted into the guide.
