Various embodiments of the present invention relate to an apparatus and a method for displaying an electronic document for processing a user's voice command in an electronic device. The electronic device includes an input device; a display; and a processor, wherein the processor may be configured to detect a voice command of a user using the input device, if outputting an electronic document corresponding to the voice command, identify at least one input field in the electronic document, determine guide information based on information of the at least one input field, and display the electronic document comprising the guide information using the display. Other embodiments may be possible.

According to various embodiments, a content casting method of an electronic device may comprise: an operation of obtaining a content list including a plurality of pieces of content information from an external server; an operation of selecting at least one piece of content from the content list on the basis of at least one of the state of a user, the type of content, and the state of an external electronic device; and an operation of transmitting information on the selected at least one piece of content to the external electronic device so as to cause the external electronic device to play the selected at least one piece of content through a short-range wireless network. An electronic device and method are disclosed, the method including a communication circuitry, a memory storing an application, a display, and a processor operatively connected with the communication circuitry, the memory, and the display. The processor executes the method, including: receiving a request to execute the application, outputting an information input screen relevant to executing the application on the display based on the request, receiving at least one piece of input information to be entered into the information input screen, from a specific external electronic device via the communication circuitry, and automatically entering the at least one piece of input information into the information input screen.

A method and apparatus for content management are provided. The method and apparatus efficiently manage content so as to provide a convenient user interface in an electronic device supporting content playback, browsing and storage. The method includes obtaining attribute information of a content item from a storage device, registering the attribute information in a content database, determining content items to be played back by a content player using the attribute information registered in the content database, creating a content list on the basis of the determined content items, displaying the content list, and playing back a content item selected by a user from the content list.
