摘要： A liquid crystal display having a touch screen panel (TSP) function includes a sensor unit formed on the first substrate; a first sensor wire disposed on the first substrate and a second sensor wire extending perpendicular to the first sensor wire, wherein the sensor unit includes a first sensor electrode connected to the first sensor wire and a second sensor electrode connected to the second sensor wire, wherein said first sensor electrode and said second sensor electrode connect when touched, and said first and second sensor wires confirm a touch position by transmitting a sensing current through the connection between the first sensor electrode and the second sensor electrode, a trench is formed near the sensor unit and a silicon protrusion pattern to increase the sensitivity of the touch screen panel.

摘要： A display device includes a lower polarizing plate, an array substrate, an opposite substrate, a liquid crystal layer and an upper polarizing plate. The array substrate includes a pixel electrode and a lower alignment layer. The pixel electrode has a planar-type electrode portion and a plurality of branch electrode portions extended from the planar-type electrode portion in a first direction, which is formed at about 45 degrees with respect to a first polarization axis. The lower alignment layer is formed on the pixel electrode to be aligned in the first direction. The opposite substrate includes a planar-type common electrode facing the pixel electrode and an upper alignment layer. The upper alignment layer is formed on the common electrode to be aligned in an opposite direction of the first direction.

A second sensor drain electrode corresponding to the first sensor gate electrode is formed on the sensor active pattern. A pixel electrode is electrically connected to the gate line and the data line. A sensor electrode part electrically connects the first and second sensor drain electrodes spaced apart from the pixel electrode. Light is reflected by the first and second sensor drain electrodes, which have an embossed shape.

摘要： A thin film transistor array panel according to the present invention includes: a gate line formed on a substrate; a data line insulated from and intersecting the gate line; a thin film transistor connected to the gate line and the data line; a light blocking layer formed on the thin film transistor and having a first transmitting window; a reflection layer formed on the light blocking layer and a second transmitting window overlapping the first transmitting window; a color filter formed in the first transmitting window and the second transmitting window and on the reflection layer; and a pixel electrode formed on the color filter and overlapping the second transmitting window, wherein the reflection layer includes protrusions and depressions corresponding to a portion of the pixel area defined by the gate line and data line.

摘要： A sealant that can be used in a liquid crystal display device without contaminating the liquid crystal layer is presented. The sealant includes an acrylic-based compound having at least two acryl groups per molecule and an epoxy-based compound having an epoxy group and a dihydrazide compound. A liquid crystal display using the sealant is provided. The liquid crystal display includes a first substrate having a display area, a second substrate on the first substrate and a liquid crystal layer interposed between the first and second substrates. A sealant pattern is formed on any one of the first and second substrates in an outer portion of the display area by using the sealant.
