摘要: Embodiments of a capacitance sensing system including an integrating amplifier and methods for operating the same to provide a higher slew rate and bandwidth are described. In one embodiment, the integrating amplifier comprises an input stage including an inverting input coupled to an electrode of a capacitor to sense a capacitance and a non-inverting input coupled to a reference potential, and an output stage including a compensating capacitor coupled to an output. The compensating capacitor comprises two smaller capacitors coupled in parallel and a switching element configured to open when the integrating amplifier is operated in a RESET mode decoupling one of the two smaller capacitors from the output to decrease capacitance of the compensating capacitor.

摘要: A tool body (1) has a coupler for engagement with any of a variety of tool heads such as a spade head (3), and a hatchet head (4). A tool comprising the body (1) and a tool head (3-10) is a hammer action tool. It may be used as a fork, spade, chisel, hatchet, or any tool which would benefit from a hammer action. A tubular shank (21) and a hammer (22) are together a hammer weight which is pushed down by the user until it hits a receiver (23), driving the tool head. A spring (24) returns the hammer (22) and a shank (21) back up to the start position ready for the next hammer action. It also acts to push the tool head out against a work surface for overhead work such as chiseling. A spring (25), acting between a hammer impact part (22) and the handle (21, 27) takes the shock out of the impact for the user's hands. The shank (21) and the hammer (22) slide up and down together on the box-section receiver tube (32). A safety locking mechanism has a catch (30) biased to automatically lock the hammer unless the user presses a trigger in the handle.

摘要: A first integration capacitor stores charge from a positive signal portion. A second integration capacitor stores charge from negative signal portion. The voltage across the first and second integration capacitors is measured differentially. The presence of a conductive object proximate to a capacitance sensing element is detected based on the measured differential voltage between the first and second integration capacitors.

摘要: A vehicle tracking system central host comprises a memory cache processor for managing a plurality of memory caches and a storage device linked with the memory cache processor, for receiving messages from the memory caches and writing them to a database. There are n receiver ports each for receiving message packets of an associated protocol from remote vehicle on-board tracker units. There are also n receiver processors, each associated with a port and each receiver processor being for: reading message packets received at the associated port, performing initial processing of the message packets including adding headers to provide processed messages, and writing the processed messages to a log dedicated to the receiver processor. There re also n decoders, each associated with a receiver processor log and being for (a) instantiating a service object for each log, (b) executing each service object to instantiate a message object in which data from a current message is written as attributes of the message object such that instantiation of the message object normalizes the message and the normalized fields include a vehicle identifier field, and (c) executing each service object to repeat step (b) for each successive message in the associated log, and (d) executing the service object to write each message object to one of said memory caches. The ports, the receiver processors, and the decoders operate in parallel.
