摘要: A connector for facilitating fluid transfer includes first fitting, a second fitting, a rigid conduit, a first retaining connector, and a second retaining connector. The rigid conduit includes a flexible tube surrounded by a deformable sleeve. The rigid conduit is connected on a first end to the first fitting and on a second end to the second fitting. The first retaining connector connects the first fitting to the rigid conduit and the second retaining connector connects the second fitting to the rigid conduit. A lumen extends through the rigid conduit and is capable of being sealed. The rigid conduit and the flexible tube are capable of being severed while maintaining the seal of the lumen to separate the first fitting from the second fitting. The connections of the first fitting and the second fitting to the rigid conduit are capable of withstanding at least 1 bar of pressure without leaking.

Each outlet of the plurality of outlets is in fluid communication with the single inlet and in fluid communication with a respective inflow conduit such that the distribution hub is configured to provide an equal portion of the fluid received through the single inlet to each of the inflow conduits.

摘要: A fluid distribution system is configured to distribute fluid from a first vessel to second vessels includes a hub assembly and a frame assembly. The hub assembly has an input cap, a distribution cap, a first clamp, and a second clamp. The input cap defines an inlet and the distribution cap is sealingly secured to the input cap with a plenum being defined between the input and distribution caps. The distribution cap includes conduit connectors that each defines an outlet in fluid communication with the plenum. The first clamp is disposed over the distribution cap and is engaged with the input cap to secure the input cap to the distribution cap and the second clamp is disposed over the input cap and engaged with the distribution cap to secure the distribution cap to the input cap. The frame assembly supports the hub assembly and is configured to secure each of the secondary vessels at a predetermined distance relative to the hub assembly.

摘要: Fluid transfer assemblies for transferring fluid into or out of a single vessel and distributing the fluid to multiple other vessels are provided. The fluid transfer assemblies are customizable, substantially aseptic, and single-use. The fluid transfer assemblies may be manufactured by solidifying polymeric materials to form a body around a mandrel with protrusions engaged to fluid conduits and leaving recesses in the solidified polymeric material to stretch the resultant body and remove the mandrel with protrusions. The resultant fluid transfer assembly may be surrounded by a rigid housing and valves may be engaged with the conduits and/or body to control the fluid flow within the fluid transfer assembly.
