    摘要: A diesel particulate filter system for treating the exhaust gas of a diesel engine which is small in size and inexpensive. The system includes a particulate filter connected in a gas line from the engine, a burner, including an ignition plug, connected at a point upstream of the particulate filter and which is supplied with fuel, a primary air flow for atomizing the fuel, and a secondary air flow for burning the particulates trapped in the particular filter and which supplies the particulate filter with a hot burning gas produced by the ignition plug. Primary and secondary pumps supply, respectively, the primary and secondary air flows. A single motor drives both the primary and secondary air pumps. The ignition plug and motor are controlled so that when the amount of particulates trapped in the filter exceeds a preset level, the ignition plug and motor are activated to clean the filter by burning the particulates in the burner.

    摘要: In one embodiment, a write/read apparatus includes an external interface section for data input; an external interface section for data output; a memory for temporarily storing the data that is input through the external interface section for data input and written on the recording medium and the data that is read from the recording medium and sent to the outside through the external interface section for data output; an address generating section for generating unique addresses associated with physical block addresses of the recording medium; a flag generating section for generating flags for prohibiting overwriting of the data to be written on the recording medium; and a processing section for adding the unique addresses generated in the address generating section to the data that is stored in the memory and that is to be written on the recording medium. The data with the addition of the flags generated in the flag generating section and the unique addresses is written on the recording medium.

    摘要: A signal processing device for analog-to-digital converting a burst signal has a feature of selecting a data bus to notify a disk control device of a conversion result via an NRZ data bus. The disk control device stores the result of the analog-to-digital conversion of the servo positional signal. The positional signal of a head of the disk device is digitalized in a R/W channel. Sampling for digital conversion is performed in only a window which is defined only in the vicinity of peaks of the positional signal. The values of peaks which are obtained by sampling are averaged by an averaging circuit. This enables the influence of noise occurred outside of the window to be eliminated. Although the noise in the window is sampled, its adverse influence is suppressed by the averaging processing.
