    摘要: According to one embodiment, an image processing apparatus includes first and second computation portions, a selection portion, a projection portion, and a weighted averaging portion. The first computation portion is configured to obtain magnitudes of correlations between a first vector and plural basis vectors. The selection portion is configured to select basis vectors from the plural basis vectors. The projection portion is configured to select a second region, obtain a first projection vector by projecting the first vector onto a subspace formed by the selected basis vectors and obtain a second projection vector for each second region by projecting a second vector onto the subspace. The second computation portion is configured to compute a distance between the first and second projection vectors. The weighted averaging portion is configured to weighted average a pixel value of the second pixel to obtain an output pixel value of a first pixel.

The acquisition unit is configured to acquire a moving image including a plurality of frames. The clustering unit is configured to cluster frames having a similar scene to the same group in the moving image. The detection unit is configured to detect at least one object region from each frame clustered to the same group, and to calculate a color distribution of the object region of the each frame. The correction unit is configured to select a typical color distribution of the object region from the color distribution of the each frame, and to correct a color of the each frame clustered to the same group, based on the typical color distribution.

    摘要: A wavelength tunable laser diode (LD) is disclosed. The LD provides a SG-DFB region and a CSG-DBR region. The SG-DFB region shows a gain spectrum with a plurality of gain peaks, while, the CSG-DBR region shows a reflection spectrum with a plurality of reflection peaks. The LD may emit light with a wavelength at which the one of the gain peaks and one of the reflection peaks coincides. In the present LD, both the gain spectrum and the reflection spectrum are modified by adjusting the temperature of the SG-DFB region and that of the CSG-DBR region independently.

    摘要: According to an embodiment, an image processing apparatus includes a feature data calculator, a generating unit, and an adding unit. The feature data calculator calculates feature data representing changes in pixel values within a first range of an input image. The generating unit obtains a weight of a predetermined image pattern on the basis of a probability distribution and the feature data. The weight represents a pattern of changes in the pixel values. The probability distribution represents a distribution of relative values of feature data of a learning image containing a high-frequency component with respect to feature data of a learning image. The generating unit weights the predetermined image pattern with the weight so as to generate a high-frequency component with respect to the input image. The adding unit adds the high-frequency component to the input image.
