摘要: An anode material capable of providing a high capacity and improving cycle characteristics and a manufacturing method thereof, and a battery are provided. The anode material has a reaction phase containing an element capable of generating an intermetallic compound with Li and C. In this reaction phase, a half value width of a diffraction peak by X-ray diffraction is preferably 0.5° or more. Further, in this anode material, it is preferable that a peak of C is obtained in a region lower than 284.5 eV by XPS. In the case that Sn is contained as an element capable of generating an intermetallic compound with Li, it is preferable that an energy difference between a peak of 3d5/2 orbit of Sn and a peak of 1s orbit of C is larger than 200.1 eV. It becomes thereby possible that cohesion or crystallization of the element capable of generating an intermetallic compound with Li associated with charge and discharge can be inhibited.

摘要: Provided are an anode material capable of improving a capacity and cycle characteristics, and a battery using the anode material. A disk-shaped cathode contained in a package can and a disk-shaped anode contained in a package cup are laminated with a separator in between. The anode comprises a composite material formed through applying a compressive force and a shearing force to at least a part of a surface of a base material including at least one kind selected from Group 14 elements except for carbon so as to combine a carbonaceous material with the base material, thereby the capacity and the cycle characteristics can be improved.

摘要: An alloy powder containing at least one element selected from the group consisting of the Group 14 elements exclusive of C and the Group 13 elements exclusive of Tl is subjected to a mechanical milling treatment, to obtain a negative electrode active material. Alternately, a raw material including a powder containing at least one element selected from the group consisting of the Group 14 elements exclusive of C and the Group 13 elements exclusive of Tl is subjected to a mechanical alloying treatment at a reaction temperature of below 90° C., to obtain a negative electrode active material. The negative electrode active material is restrained from the expansion and contraction attendant on the doping and dedoping of lithium which is characteristic of the alloy material, a negative electrode using the negative electrode active material is restrained from the change to a particulate form attendant on charging and discharging, and a nonaqueous electrolyte cell using the negative electrode shows both an excellent charging-discharging cycle characteristic and a high discharging capacity.

摘要: The battery comprises a positive electrode which has a positive electrode active material compound layer containing a positive electrode active material formed on a positive electrode current collector; a negative electrode which has at least one negative electrode thin film layer and at least one negative electrode active material compound layer, on a negative electrode current collector, and a non-aqueous electrolyte containing an electrolyte salt. The negative electrode thin film layer contains at least one Group 14 element, and is formed by a thin-film formation technology, and the negative electrode active material compound layer contains a binder and a negative electrode active material, which contains at least any one of Sn, Si, Sn compound, Si compound and carbonaceous material. With this negative electrode, the negative electrode thin film layer containing a high-capacity Group 14 element raises the battery capacity, and the negative electrode active material compound layer provides excellent charge/discharge cycle characteristics while suppressing degradation of the negative electrode even under repetitive charge/discharge.

The electrolytic solution contains 4-fluoro-1,3-dioxolane-2-one. Fluorine ion content in the electrolytic solution is preferably from 10 weight ppm to 3200 weight ppm. Thereby, chemical stability of the electrolytic solution is improved, and cycle characteristics are improved. The present invention is effective for the case using an anode active material containing Sn or Si as an element for an anode.
