The recording medium is provided with at least one land and at least one groove, and information is recorded in plural sectors in each of the land(s) and groove(s). The optical storage unit includes an optical phase adjuster for adjusting a phase of a polarization component of the light beam reflected from the recording medium based on a track type determination of a target address. An optical pickup is provided for reproducing information recorded on the recording medium using the phase-adjusted polarization component of the light beam.

    摘要: An airbag device includes: an airbag; an inflator; a gas discharge state switching member; and a tether belt which is one example of a connecting member. The gas discharge state switching member is switched over from a gas discharge state to a gas non-discharge state by being pulled into the inside of the airbag. The tether belt connects the gas discharge state switching member and a portion of an inner peripheral portion of the airbag to each other. An arranged position of the gas discharge state switching member, a position where the tether belt is connected to the inner peripheral portion of the airbag, and a passing line of the tether belt are disposed at portions which avoid a portion of the airbag which comes into contact with an occupant in a regular posture state when the airbag receives the occupant.

    摘要: In an airbag inflatable inside a seating portion of a vehicle's seat, the design flexibility, in terms of shape and height, of the airbag in an inflated state is increased. An airbag device (1) includes an airbag (10) and an inflator (2). The airbag (10) is disposed inside a seating portion of a seat and is inflated under a seated occupant. The inflator (2) generates gas to inflate and deploy the airbag (10). The airbag (10) includes an upper base fabric piece (11), a lower base fabric piece (12), and a pair of side base fabric pieces (13), which are joined to one another and form an air chamber (14) therein. The pair of side base fabric pieces (13) are disposed at part of side portions between the upper base fabric piece (11) and the lower base fabric piece (12) and define the shape of the air chamber (14) in an inflated state.

    摘要: A signal detection sections detect the light intensity modulated by the phase pits as ROM signals from the return lights of an optical storage medium that has phase pits and a recording layer to simultaneously regenerate data in the ROM and RAM, and detect the RAM signals where the return lights were modulated by the recording film. A feedback circuit reduces the cross-talk of the phase pits of the RAM signals of the recording film by feeding back the ROM signals to the laser drive current of the laser element, and a circuit for adjusting the feedback circuit so as to present a constant cross-talk suppression effect regardless the temperature change of the laser element. Since the feedback gain is changed by changing the laser temperature, an RF feedback gain, with which MO signals are not deteriorated by the change of the laser temperature, can be set.
