摘要： An electrode for use in a electrochemical sensor comprises carbon modified with a chemically sensitive redox-active compound, excluding an electrode based on carbon having derivatised thereon two redox-active species wherein at least one of said species is selected from anthraquinone, phenanthrenequinone and N,N′-diphenyl-p-phenylenediamine (DPPD). The invention further provides a pH sensor comprising: a working electrode comprising carbon modified with a chemically sensitive redox active material; and a counter electrode, wherein the ratio of the surface area of the working electrode to the surface area of the counter electrode is from 1:10 to 10:1. Also provided is a pH sensor comprising: a working electrode comprising carbon modified with a chemically sensitive redox active material, and a counter electrode, wherein the area of the working electrode is from 500 μm2 to 0.1 m2. The uses of these electrodes and sensors are also described.

摘要： An electrochemical sensor for measuring the amount of hydrogen sulphide or thiols in a fluid comprises an electrically conductive porous electrode within which are dispersed a precursor and a reaction solution which together with the hydrogen sulphide or thiols a redox reaction resulting in an electrical current dependent upon the amount of hydrogen sulphide or thiols in the fluid. 摘要： Embodiments provide WiFi and WiMAX tailored transceiver radio frequency (RF) filtering techniques and configurations to enable coexistence between WiFi and WiMAX transceivers operating in close proximity. In particular, embodiments provide filtering techniques to reject emissions from WiMAX into WiFi, and vice versa. The filtering techniques eliminate the need for additional isolation between WiMAX and WiFi antennas (approximately 50 dB), which is beyond what is achievable in practice. Embodiments can be tailored according to different use cases of the WiFi and WiMAX transceivers (e.g., fixed CPE, portable router, smart phone with tethering).

The media acquisition engine also comprises a media reception engine that receives the media item from the physical device, and a translation engine that encodes the media item into a data structure compatible with the cloud application imaging service. The interface engine is configured to transfer the media item to the plug-in.
