摘要: A bicycle brake apparatus comprises a securing bracket with an axle opening dimensioned to receive a bicycle wheel hub axle therethrough, a braked member that has a braking surface and is adapted to rotate with a bicycle wheel hub rotatably supported by the hub axle, a braking member adapted to contact the braking surface, and an operating unit that selectively causes the braking member to contact the braking surface. A locking unit is structured for attachment to the securing bracket, wherein the locking unit extends in an axial direction of the hub axle and is dimensioned to nonrotatably engage the bicycle frame radially inwardly of a rotating portion of the brake apparatus.

摘要: A handlebar is disclosed that includes a handlebar main body, a pair of support walls, a first slit, and a brake lever. The handlebar main body is hollow and is mounted to the handlebar stem. The hollow interior of the handlebar main body is formed with the support walls that extend along at least a portion of the length of the interior of the handlebar main body. The brake lever has a lever body and a brake cable attachment portion. The lever body is pivotally supported by the support walls proximate the first slit. The lever body includes a brake operating portion that extends away from the handlebar main body and a pivot support portion that is pivotally mounted to the support walls.

摘要: A multi-speed internal bicycle hub transmission assembly includes a hub axle, a driver, a hub shell, a power transmission mechanism and a shift control mechanism. The driver and the hub shell are rotatably supported to the hub axle. The power transmission mechanism is disposed between the driver and the hub shell for transmitting rotational power from the driver to the hub shell. The shift control mechanism includes a shift controller and a positioner. The shift controller is movable in rotational directions relative to the hub axle to a plurality of orientations. Each orientation of the shift controller corresponds to selection of a corresponding one of plurality of power transmission paths of the power transmission mechanism. The positioner is non-movable in the rotational direction relative to the hub axle and is biased into contact with the shift controller.

摘要: A bicycle hub cover assembly is installed on a bicycle hub to provide a hard, rigid protective cover for the bicycle hub. In one embodiment, the bicycle hub cover assembly has a hub shell cover, a first hub end cover, a second hub end cover and a pair of fasteners that attach the hub end covers to the axle of the bicycle hub. The hub shell cover is configured and arranged to be mounted concentrically around a center portion of the hub shell of the bicycle hub, while the hub end covers overlie the axial ends of the bicycle hub. Thus, the bicycle hub is completely enclosed, except for a small gap located between the hub shell cover and each of the first and second hub end covers. In another embodiment, the hub shell cover is eliminated.

摘要: A bicycle suspension assembly elastically supports a first frame member to a second frame member. The suspension assembly preferably forms a bottom bracket unit that allows the rear frame member to pivot about the axis of the bicycle crank axle without any adverse affects to the drive train assembly. Preferably, the suspension assembly includes a first suspension member, a second suspension member, a first bearing unit, and a shock-absorbing structure. The first bearing unit is operatively disposed between the first and second suspension members to movably support the first suspension member for rotation relative to the second suspension member about a center pivot axis. In the preferred embodiment, each of the shock-absorbing structure includes a plurality of biasing members. Preferably, the suspension assembly includes a second bearing unit that is axially spaced from the first bearing unit along the center pivot axis.

摘要: A non-pneumatic bicycle tire has a main tire body and at least one rim retaining member. The main tire body includes a rim engagement portion and a ground contact portion with a ground contact surface. The at least one rim retaining member is fixedly attached to the rim engagement portion. The at least one rim retaining member includes a pair of elastically deformable rim retaining portions extending laterally in opposite axial directions. Preferably, the main tire body has a plurality of the rim retaining members coupled thereto. In one embodiment, the rim retaining members are attached to the inner surface of the main tire body, while in another embodiment, the rim retaining members are embedded into the rim engagement portion of the main tire body.
