摘要: A document transport apparatus for transporting a document sheet to a predetermined position that includes a first switchback portion for switching back each of the document sheets of which the front side is read in the document reading portion to transport to the document reading portion and a second switchback portion for switching back each of the document sheets of which both sides are read in the document reading portion to discharge to the sheet discharge tray. The first switchback member provided in the first switchback portion transports two document sheets in mutually different directions and the first switchback member has a first switchback path and a first switchback roller pair each for guiding overlapping two document sheets in the mutually different directions or the same direction. The second switchback member provided in the second switchback portion transports two document sheets in mutually different directions.

摘要: A document transport apparatus for transporting a document sheet to a reading portion to read the document is provided with a first switchback portion for switching back the document sheet of which the front side is read in the reading portion to transport again to the document reading portion, and a second switchback path for switching back the document sheet of which both sides are read to discharge to a sheet discharge tray, and executes the document transport operation so that two sequentially transported sheets are transported in each of the first switchback portion and the second switchback portion with the sheets overlapping in reading the both sides of the sheets, and it is thereby possible to shorten the processing time of reading both sides of the sheets and to improve productivity.

摘要: A document reading device is capable of facilitating attachment/detachment of a reading unit provided inside a U-shaped document conveying path formed in a document conveying device. The document reading device includes a U-shaped document conveying path extending from a sheet supply tray to a sheet discharge tray through a reading section and a reading unit disposed inside the U-shaped document conveying path, a downstream part of the sheet supply tray on which a document is placed and a guide member provided upstream of the document conveying path to continue from the sheet supply tray and is arranged to be attachable/detachable with respect to the sheet supply tray or document conveying path. The reading unit is removable from inside the U-shaped document conveying path through an opening through which the downstream part of the sheet supply tray and guide member of the document conveying path are removed.

摘要: A document reading device is capable of facilitating attachment/detachment of a reading unit provided inside a U-shaped document conveying path formed in a document conveying device. 摘要: A sheet binding processing apparatus includes a conveying portion, a conveying path for sheets, a stacking portion on which sheets from the conveying path are stacked, a first regulating portion for regulating a sheet bundle on the stacking portion in a crossing direction, a second regulating portion for regulating a sheet bundle in the conveying direction, a manual setting portion for setting sheets from an outside of the apparatus, and a binding device which binds a sheet bundle by a staple and moves in the crossing direction. An angular posture of the binding device located at a third position is different from an angular posture located at a first position. An angular posture of the binding device located at the third position is different from an angular posture located at a second position. The second position is located at a second side of the first position.

摘要: A sheet binding apparatus includes a stack portion on which sheets are stacked; a manual setting portion, different from the stack portion, to which sheets are manually set from an outside of the apparatus; a first binding portion binding sheets stacked on the stack portion and set on the manual setting portion, the first binding portion being movable to a first position where sheets on the stack portion are bound and to a second position, different from the first position where sheets set on the manual setting portion are bound; and a second binding portion binding sheets stacked on the stack portion, the second binding portion being different from the first binding portion. The first position is set, with respect to a moving direction of the first binding portion, between the second position and a third position where the second binding portion binds sheets stacked on the stack portion.

摘要: A document reading device is capable of preventing distortion or twisting occurring in a document conveying device from being transmitted to a reading carriage incorporated in the document conveying device. A document reading device includes a second reading carriage provided in a document conveying unit and configured to read a surface of a document different from a surface read by a first reading carriage, a support frame having a support surface supporting the second reading carriage, a retaining member retaining the second reading carriage by sandwiching the same between itself and the support frame, and an elastic member provided between the second reading carriage and retaining member to press the second reading carriage against the support frame. One of the support surface of the support frame and a supported surface of the second reading carriage supported by the support surface is formed into a curved surface.

摘要: A sheet transport apparatus that transports a sheet to a reading section for reading the sheet, has a reading front roller pair contacting with a front end of the sheet to form a register loop in the sheet; a first transport path extending curvingly toward the reading front roller pair; a second transport path extending curvingly toward the reading front roller pair after joining the first transport path; a first register space in which a register loop is formed in a sheet guided along the first transport path; and a second register space in which a register loop is formed in a sheet guided along the second transport path. The first register space is provided on the upstream side of a junction position in which the first transport path joins the second transport path, and the second register space is provided on the downstream side of the junction position.

摘要: A document data capturing device includes a sheet supply tray for carrying documents, a sheet discharge tray located below the sheet supply tray, and a document conveying mechanism including a conveying path along which documents are guided from the sheet supply tray to the sheet discharge tray. The document data capturing device includes a first data-capturing unit and a second data-capturing unit which scan respective sides of a document conveyed by the document conveying mechanism. The first data-capturing unit and the second data-capturing unit are each configured with a reduction-optics scanning mechanism. The conveying path along which a document to be scanned by the first and second scanning mechanisms is conveyed is formed to surround the second reduction-optics data-capturing unit. Thus, the device can be made compact.

摘要: Document feeder and image capturing device preventing empty stamping associated with improper positioning of printing unit. Document feeder A, conveying document originals from a document placement location, along a predetermined conveyance path (12), and to a document information-capturing location (5, 6), is furnished with: a printing unit (8), which is shiftable along the document widthwise direction approximately orthogonal to the document conveyance direction, and is for carrying out predetermined printing onto conveyed documents; and a detection unit (S4), provided in the conveyance path further upstream in the conveyance direction than the printer unit (8), that detects whether a conveyed document will pass inside the limits of the range in which the printer unit (8) prints.
