    Abstract: A document retrieval system retrieving a document with the concept of the document taken into account is provided. The system includes a processing portion and the processing portion creates a retrieval graph from a retrieval composition. The retrieval graph includes first to m-th retrieval local graphs (m is an integer of greater than or equal to 1), and the retrieval local graphs are each constituted by two nodes and one edge. The processing portion performs retrieval of first to m-th sentences on a reference document. The i-th sentence (i is an integer of greater than or equal to 1 and less than or equal to m) includes one of the two nodes in the i-th retrieval local graph or a related term or a hyponym of the one of the two nodes; the other of the two nodes in the i-th retrieval local graph or a related term or a hyponym of the other of the two nodes; and the edge in the i-th retrieval local graph or a related term or a hyponym of the edge. A mark is assigned to the score of the reference document in accordance with the number of sentences included in the reference document among the first to m-th sentences.

    Abstract: To provide a lithium-ion storage battery or electronic device that is flexible and highly safe. One embodiment of the present invention is a flexible storage battery including a positive electrode, a negative electrode, a separator between the positive electrode and the negative electrode, an exterior body that surrounds the positive electrode, the negative electrode, and the separator, and a wiring provided along the exterior body. At least part of the wiring is more easily breakable by deformation than the exterior body. The wiring is more vulnerable to deformation than the exterior body and thus damaged earlier than the exterior body. Damage to the wiring is detected and an alert is sent to a user; thus, the use of the storage battery can be stopped before the exterior body is damaged.

    Abstract: A decrease in the capacity of a power storage device is inhibited by adjusting or reducing imbalance in the amount of inserted and extracted carrier ions between positive and negative electrodes, which is caused by decomposition of an electrolyte solution of the negative electrode. Further, the capacity of the power storage device can be restored. Furthermore, impurities in the electrolyte solution can be decomposed with the use of the third electrode. A power storage device including positive and negative electrodes, an electrolyte, and a third electrode is provided. The third electrode has an adequate electrostatic capacitance. The third electrode can include a material with a large surface area. In addition, a method for charging the power storage device including the steps of performing charging by applying a current between the positive and negative electrodes, and performing additional applying a current between the third electrode and the negative electrode is provided.

    Abstract: A lithium ion secondary battery includes a positive electrode, a negative electrode, and an electrolyte provided between the positive electrode and the negative electrode. The positive electrode includes a positive electrode current collector and a positive electrode active material layer over the positive electrode current collector. The positive electrode active material layer includes a plurality of lithium-containing composite oxides each of which is expressed by LiMPO4 (M is one or more of Fe (II), Mn (II), Co (II), and Ni (II)) that is a general formula. The lithium-containing composite oxide is a flat single crystal particle in which the length in the b-axis direction is shorter than each of the lengths in the a-axis direction and the c-axis direction. The lithium-containing composite oxide is provided over the positive electrode current collector so that the b-axis of the single crystal particle intersects with the surface of the positive electrode current collector.
