    摘要： A user can use a plurality of communication devices to sign in to a communication system. A recording message addressed to himself/herself may be recorded in a distributed manner in the plurality of communication devices. One of the communication devices is requested to display a list of incoming call information while signing in to the communication system using user information. The one communication device requests the other communication device to send incoming call information corresponding to the same user information. The incoming call information corresponding to the same user information is transmitted to the communication device in one terminal from the other communication device. In the one communication device, the incoming call information transmitted from the other communication device is received, and list data is generated based on the received incoming call information.

    摘要： A recording/reproduction device is provided wherein service content having interactivity can be restored even when recorded. In recording mode, a transport stream from a receiving device 34 is received and a conversion device 36 converts this to a packet-multiplexed stream in a condition suitable for recording, which is then output as a converted stream. The conversion device 36 selects packets relating to a desired service from the transport stream and, of these packets, selects only packets needed for reproduction and uses these to generate a converted stream. A recording device 38 records this converted stream on a recording medium 44. In reproduction mode, the converted stream from recording medium 44 is read by means of a reading device 42 and supplied to a restoration device 40. Restoration device 40, in accordance with the content of this converted stream, restores and outputs a service content signal (for example a composite signal such as NTSC). A video/image output device 46 receives this service content signal and outputs video/images. These are recorded, still in packetized condition. Consequently, since recording can be achieved including the control data, recording/reproduction can be formed without impairing the functionality of the satellite broadcast provided by the control data.

    摘要： A function managing apparatus allows a user to avoid a fault likely to occur in a user terminal before a new function is installed on the user terminal. A function managing apparatus for communicating with a user terminal is provided. Specifically, the function managing apparatus includes a receiving unit, predicting unit, and alerting unit. The receiving unit receives from the user terminal the new function ID identifying the new function to be installed on the user terminal, and the installed function IDs identifying one or more functions previously installed on the user terminal. The predicting unit specifies the new function and one or more installed functions based on the new function ID and installed function IDs received by the receiving unit, and predicts the result when the new function is installed on the user terminal. The alerting unit notifies the user terminal of the prediction result of the predicting unit.
