摘要: An AC generator for use in motor vehicles which is high in power generation and cooling efficiency. The magnetic circuit is so constructed that its number of slots per each pole and each phase is 0.5 and that its winding system is of concentrated winding. With such a construction, the total length of its stator coils can be reduced compared with that of the conventional machine. In addition, its output and efficiency are improved by the reduced temperature rise and a reduction in its structure and cost can be achieved by the reduced consumption of copper.

摘要: A motor for an electric power steering assembly includes a yoke, a multipolar magnetic field portion composed of at least four poles secured to the inner wall of the yoke, a shaft disposed within the yoke so as to be able to rotate freely, an armature secured to the shaft having a winding constructed by winding wiring into an even number of slots formed on the outer circumferential surface of a core so as to extend in the axial direction thereof, a commutator comprising a plurality of segments secured to an end portion of the shaft; and a plurality of brushes contacting the surface of the commutator.

摘要: The rotary cathode X-ray tube equipment of the present invention is constructed so as to permit radiation of X-ray from all directions with respect to the whole circumference of a subject, and is used for x-ray CT. The equipment of the invention is constructed to prevent an X-ray radiation window 40 of a low strength from being influenced by atmospheric deformations of a vacuum vessel 1 or by machining and assembling errors, for example by using a joint portion disposed between the X-ray radiation window and an inner ring and having both a surface perpendicular to a rotational axis of a rotary member and a cylindrical surface parallel to the rotational axis, a face seal formed on the surface of the joint portion perpendicular to the rotational axis, and an axial seal formed on the cylindrical surface of the joint portion parallel to the rotational axis.

摘要: A motor having a stator which comprises a stator iron core 6 formed by fitting an inner ring magnetic pole portion 10 into an outer ring yoke portion 5, the inner ring magnetic pole portion 10 having slots 8 and magnetic poles 7; an insulating member 11 covering the inner ring magnetic pole portion of the stator iron core; a funnel-like insulating 13 which is formed integrally with the insulating member 11 to cover an end surface 14 of the inner ring magnetic pole portion 10 and which has a first through hole 15 for rotary shaft to communicate with the central portion of the inner ring magnetic pole portion 10 spool frames 23, 24 with pins 28 formed on the magnetic poles 7 so as to be integral with the insulating member 13; a rotor 16 inserted in the inner ring magnetic pole portion; 10; a funnel-like insulating cover 18 having a second through hole 20 for rotary shaft which is in alignment with the first through hole 15, the insulating cover 18 being mounted on the other end surface 12 of the inner ring magnetic pole portion 10 and coils 32, 34 wound on the stator iron core 6 and fitted in the slots 8 in a parallel and crosswise shape, the coils 32, 34 having ends engaged with the pins 28, wherein openings 49 are formed in an outer casing 41 for receiving therein the stator so that the spool frames are inserted in the openings 49; a terminal block 50 connected to a cord for power feeding and supporting electronic devices 52 which are connected with the pins 28 is mounted on the spool frames and a cover 58 is fitted to the outer casing 41.

摘要: An objective lens driving device with a multipole magnet which includes a cylindrical yoke with an E-shaped cross section for defining an annular gap between the central yoke section and the outer cyclindrical yoke section; four rectangular tracking coils attached to the side of a focusing coil such that a pair of vertical coil sides of each tracking coil are parallel to a supporting shaft; and a pair of circular multipole magnets disposed within the gap between the central and outer cylindrical yoke sections and each having at least three magnet sections, with opposite end magnet sections having a polarity opposite to that of the central magnet section so that the vertical coil sides interlink with magnetic fluxes having opposite directions to each other, whereby tracking forces act upon the vertical coil sides in the same direction.

摘要: An electrical discharge machining apparatus having an improved bed which provides improved control over the gap between a machining head and a workpiece by reducing the amount of deformation produced in the bed when the table and saddle are moved. The bed is constituted by an upper plate and side plates, with saddle guide rails being disposed on the upper plate, a saddle movably mounted on the saddle guide rails, table guide rails mounted on the saddle, and a workpiece-supporting table movably mounted on the saddle guide rails. In accordance with one embodiment of the invention, the saddle guide rails are positioned at the edges of the upper plate, directly above the side plates of the bed. In another embodiment, reinforcing members are provided under the upper plate, extending parallel to and directly under respective ones of guide rails.

摘要: In an encased electric motor within a casing, an electrically insulating varnish is applied by vacuum impregnation to the inside surfaces of the casing and to the outer surface of the stator of the motor. The remaining empty space within the casing is filled with a heat conducting gas mixture comprising approximately 60-90% by volume of helium, with the remaining percentage being an electrically insulating gas having better electrically insulating properties than helium, such as sulphur hexafluoride. This encased motor is much lighter than conventional encased motors in which the stator enclosure is filled with a heat conducting resin potting compound and avoids warping damage which frequently occurs in conventional encased motors due to thermal expansion of the heat conducting resin potting compound.
